This is an edited appearance.2da with what I believe are the correct heights for the Forgotten Realms.
Just to stress the point this is for the playable races only any NPCs or monsters will retain their default size so you will likely feel a wee bit small if you use the average sizes as an override. The max sizes are closer to default and as such should mean you feel less shrunk.
Heres the sizes in max heights file :
2.08m - Half-Orc, Fire Gensai & Grey Orcs
1.98m - Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, Air & Earth Gensai, Aasimar, Tiefling & Yuan-ti
1.88m - Water Gensai
1.80m - Half-Drow
1.65m - Drow
1.47m - Shield Dwarves
1.35m - Gold and Grey Dwarves
1.12m - Rock Gnomes
1.07m - Deep Gnomes
1.02m - Halflings
These modifications are purely aesthetic no modification was made to movement or any other entries in the appearance 2da.
The base models are 2 metres in height so the scaling in the 2da are based around that ie a 1 in the scaling fields is for a 2 metre tall character.
I edited the scale fields and the height field other than that its the same as the default. The changes are only for player type characters (note that the default blueprints for Duergar and Svirfneblin use the Shield Dwarf and Rock Gnome entries respectively)
The small races are quite small with this so if your looking for a more subtle difference (and feel inadequate cause your Wood elf has to look up to a human) then try this Link Edits some of the same values
I'll point out I could be totally wrong with sizes etc corrections welcomed
This version has the heights set to the average:
1.80m - Half-Orc, Fire Gensai & Grey Orcs
1.75m - Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, Air & Earth Gensai, Aasimar, Tiefling & Yuan-ti
1.70m - Water Gensai
1.63m - Half-Drow
1.52m - Drow
1.40m - Shield Dwarves
1.27m - Gold and Grey Dwarves
1.04m - Rock Gnomes
0.99m - Deep Gnomes
0.94m - Halflings
Actually a metre in feet and inches is 3' 3 4/10" roughly and that 2 metres are apparently 6'6 7/10" but for ease of things lets just say 6'7".
Also can someone tell me where the whole Drow females are taller thing is from as the height table makes no reference to it with both male and female having the same numbers, I recall reading it somewhere for the life of me I can't recall where
There are numerous other fields that should be changed to reflect the modification I have made however I didn't feel confident enough to mess with them, if I get the time to do some testing with them I'll try to figure out the correct values for them

I don't know exactly, but shouldn't the step lengths also be corrected? If the heights change, i think the steps also need to be changed.

Great files, but could you please update this file for the new patches and MotB EP?

Sorry, I included the weights as well, obviously. _________________________ Saerain

Boneshank, two metres is actually 6'6".
Sascha, as per the Forgotten Realms, the setting in which the Neverwinter Nights series is based, the heights are precisely as follows:
As far as the drow go, the average height for a female dark elf as is recognized through d&d and just about every FR novel they are in is 5 ft. thats it. Males average even shorter, around 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 ft tall. Halfings In general tend to be around 3 - 3 1/2, or little over a meter, wwhile dwarves and gnomes tend to range from 4 1/2 to 5 ft tall. Most other elves average between 5 - 5 1/2 ft tall, and the human average is, as mentioned, around 5' 8". Half-orcs would average slightly taller than the humans would, around 6ft I think though I am not sure, but they are much more heavily muscled due to their orcish blood. And from what I remember a meter is around 3' 1" I think, so you can work around that number to get the height right in the 2da. _________________________ So what if I tied Billy's legs to the flag pole and handed him a hacksaw and told him he had 5 minutes to find a cure for the anthrax I put in his milk.
The way I worked it was to take the max possible size from the player guide so really that 2m should be 1.98m however as the models seem to be made at around that 2m I just figured the ratio from the elf/human height and applied that through the z scale so the reason everyone is at max height is more to do with my laziness that and I was scared to make the small races any smaller. It also keeps Humans, Half-Orcs, Drow and Shield Dwarves the same height as default.
Also though I did check what the heights looked like in the toolset I only tested the halfling in game I was mostly just jamming the numbers I got from the player guide into the game to see the differences in height and other than trying to convey a little of the weight difference through width and depth scale I pretty much ignored what they looked like side by side. For instance the elves seem a little taller than humans caused, I think, by the elves having slightly longer heads, though it might just look that way.
the diffrence between elf and drow is a bit ridicolous.
and 1,5 m for a dwarf thats 5'
the same 2,0 m for a Human is a bit hughe
I hope you show the maximum size.... but wouldn't it be better to show the average size?
I prefer the original sizes of the original AD&D-Eelfs and not these blond-LOTR-Elfs
Umm, for what it's worth, I don't think humans & elves would be 2 meters tall, on average. That is 6'8" for the Americans out there. I think even 1.8m (or 5'11") might be generous, considering the real human average (for male) is 5'8" or 1.73m worldwide...
