This is a simple hack that lets you add any companion from the OC to your MoTB party. No role-playing capacity, just purely pack-mule and combat thing.
Un-rar the file in your
Program Files\Atari\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override
and talk to Safiya when you have her normal dialogue (not a one-liner). Select an option "I think we need more companions." To unsummon the companions, talk to Safiya again, scroll to the bottom and select the Actually I need to kick someone out option.
I suggest that you hold on to your items before transitioning between the modules. I dont know yet if the characters will stick around for the transition.
Beta 2 corrects the error with the Prologue characters (Amie, Bevil and Kipp) not being available. I do NOT recommend playing the OC with Beta 2 installed.
Beta 2 adds the Prologue characters (Amie, Kipp and Bevil). I tested with Amie only. I do NOT recommend playing the OC with this version installed (just delete it if you want to play OC).

Does exactly what it says.
Can it be updated to let you manage companions for MotB, too?
That way you don't have to go back to The Veil to switch them around.
Heh, I once wanted to make a Deshandrizer, but it occured to me that the whole damn game is build on the premise that certain NPCs are there at a certain time. So their absence will break stuff. What you can probably do if Neeshka's voice is that annoying, is delete her entire VO, *after* you backed up that data-file (so you could put it back in and update your game later. _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. They will fight just fine to the best of their AI ability or your control, don't worry. They won't have dialogues, that's what I meant :) _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. I'm *not* kidding!
Yes, that's how it works. It's a hack, not a proper companion mod :) I really appreciate you letting me know that the inventory is stable. _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. I'm *not* kidding!

Almost forgot...
When she's unsummoned, it's like unsummoning a familiar...
Poof! All gone! No trace! Anywhere!
Doesn't stick around, doesn't head to the Veil. _________________________ Watch your six!

I love having Neeshka around again!
I gave here a set of armor and a bow/arrows.
Ran all around with her, unsummoned her, ran around some more, summoned her again, and she still had what I'd given her.
Great work! _________________________ Watch your six!
Thank you for taking your time to rate and comment. It's always nice to see an opinion in addition to the dl count. :) _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. I'm *not* kidding!
