I enjoyed SoZ's party creation system so much that I wanted to make it easy and accessible in the other campaigns. So I created this simple item/script combo. Figured I'd share.
To use, simply extract the files into your Override folder. Then in game activate Debug Mode by hitting ~ to bring up the console. Type "Debugmode 1" to activate Debug Mode, and type "giveitem co_book".(and don't forget to type "Debugmode 0" after you're done to exit Debug Mode)
You should now find "The Complete Catalogue of Comrades, Companions, and Cohorts" in your inventory. When activated, it will bring up the Party Creation window, allowing you to import any of your existing characters, or create new ones.
I've tested it in both the OC and MotB, and have had no problems as of yet. Hopefully I haven't missed anything or made any huge oversights. If anyone finds anything, let me know, and I'll do my best to fix it.
=/ why does everyone who creates something half good have to disappear before they can fix the problem, I'm just aching to add my new characters into a mod, it even looks like i can add up to six and not just four! but without the add button its useless. what could be wrong?

I have got this to work for the OC and MOTB, but it won't work in my own campaign. I get the same problem as Thullraven, the GUI opens and I can see my characters and even create new ones, but the "add" button is disabled. I flagged my campaign in the toolset to allow part creation, but nada. Aside from that, this breathed new life into the OC and MOTB. Kudos tincanhitman!

It works fine for me, I have had a positive experience using this in the OC - obviously the OC ignores extra player-created characters in terms of dialogue and that, and when there is a chapter change or a forced companion it drops all the others except my PC (but having played the OC a few times now I know when to export my characters so that I can add them back in and use the console to add any missed xp at the start of the next chapter etc.)
This file doesn't turn the OC or a mod into a full SoZ party experience with conversations involving all party members etc, but if you want to take along a companion that you have made yourself, then this is a simple tool for doing so.
This file does what it says on the tin, nothing more, nothing less. I have found it very useful, if limited.
Can't get it to work. It opens up and shows my char roster, but won't let me add anyone. I even created a new char, but it wouldn't let me add her either. Looks just like SoZ, only I can't add anyone because the add button won't work. I'm patched to 1.21. Installed contents to Override. Would love to use this, but as is now, it's useless to me. What do you all think is wrong?
You didn't list a patch but I assume 1.21. Have you tried this with earlier patches? Does it rely on anything in the new patch? I'm using 1.12.1295. _________________________ "In life, one and one don't make two. One and one make one."
