For those who have never played Wizardry 8 before, it is a turn-based first-person computer RPG that has the best selection of voices for player characters I have ever seen.
This is a small project of mine to convert some of those voice sets to Neverwinter Nights 2. Feel free to use it as a resource for your own mod or to compile it with other soundset projects (just make sure to clarify that I did NOT voice this, merely repackaged/edited currently existing voicework!).
I do intend to add more voices to this pack, but I am also quite likely to lose interest--such is my personality! If you've played Wizardry 8 before, feel free to make a request. And if it is not as a full player-controlled character, that makes it ten times easier as I don't have to wrack my brain figuring out how to make a passable "yes" entry :)
--update 8/9/2010: I added a sample file for anybody who wants to make a request but hasn't played Wizardry 8 before. It has the introduction bit for all the voices except the voice I already made a sound set for.
--Update 8/15/2010: Added Female Eccentric 1. Missing a few social commands, if they're important to any content creators I could probably hash something together.
A selection of samples from all of the voice sets available in Wizardry 8. If you have a request, let me know which one you want to be made into a voice set, and whether you want it to be an enemy character (very easy), or a player character (more difficult, but I might skimp on the social phrases if I can't find a good match).

Very nice, Gilrad. I felt free to update my own 2da.files to include your two voicesets. I just made a hak-version from my 33 Voicesets and included yours as well ;-) Guess you dont mind.
Any chance to see the rest of the voices? _________________________ 33 Voicesets for NWN1 and NWN2: Link

On second thought just throwing that link out there probably isn't very helpful so I'll highlight the important parts:
-Throw the voices and the SSF file in its own folder named w8chaotic in your override directory
-Get soundset.2da from your NWN2 root\data\2DA.zip and put it in your override directory
-Open soundset.2da with a text editor, look for an empty line, and change:
first column: Wiz81
second column: w8chaotic
third column: 1942
fourth column: 0
fifth column: 0
When you create a character, the voice sample will be called "Still Mind" (changing this part involves modifying dialog.tlk, which is waaaay too much work for a correct label on character creation)
I too am a Wizardry fan, where exactly do these files go, installation wise? _________________________ Help is good when asked for,
