- v. 2.01 ReadMe uploaded for download of this file only
Version 2.00 / December 24, 2006

- fixed up a few pics
- 2DA updated for patch 1.03
Version 1.00 / December 6, 2006
This Icon Pack adds almost 1200 additional choices to the selection of inventory icons for NWN2. Most of the icons have been taken from the original NWN1 game, the CEP or other community sources. I did not personally create any of these icons and all credit is due to their respectful original creators. All I did was package them for use in NWN2 and resize them as necessary.
The included 2DA file has been padded out to line 3000.
The file names of the original icons have been altered so that there is little chance of the file names conflicting with Official release file names. All files that were originally named with the numbers starting with a "0" (ex. boots_005) have been changed to a "5" instead (ex. boots_505), all original files starting with a "1" have been changed to start with a "6," and all files originally starting with a "2" have been changed to a "7."
This pack has only been tested in NWN2 with the 1.03 patch and has not been tested in a multiplayer setting.
A ReadMe file is included that gives instructions on how to use this pack.
Special thanks goes out to community members biggislims (http://biggislims.deviantart.com/) for his submission of original icon artwork included here and to VictorDC (http://z4.invisionfree.com/Athkatla_Forums/) for his help on writing a program that lists files into a 2DA automatically (and for pointing me to a couple other helpful programs).
For any questions, comments, submissions or requests for further additional content in the next version release, please contact me through our forum at Link
****NOTE - this does not overwrite any existing Official content, rather it adds additional content for use in custom mods.
Updated 2DA file for version 3.1 to make it useful for SoZ. Please use this 2DA file instead of the one included in the Additional_NWN2_Icons.rar file. Note that this 2DA file is a combined version for the Additional_NWN2_Icons.rar and Even_More_Icons.rar downloads.
Glad it all finally worked out! I'll do my best to stay on top of this if/when another Xpack comes out. Thanks for the vote and your patience here!

Hazaaah! I think changing the name of the file is the key because it worked and best of all there is no more texture errors!
I appreciate that you are not the original artist of the icons, but it is still a great idea and solution you have had to the lack of useful icons in the game. Plus you have done the work in making the extra icons actually work.
But keeping them up to date is certainly an importance it seems. So please, please, please Knightmare can you update this icon pack with every future expansion pack that is released? If you can then I will be most grateful!
Excellent work Knightmare, and a huge thanks from me for all this effort!

Ok I reuploaded the file and tried a download and you are right, it again was producing the wrong one. I changed the RARed file's name and now it seems to be giving the correct file. The extracted file should be last modified 03/19/09 at 9:20 AM.

Unfortunately it looks like the vault is still supplying the old file (Modified: 12 March 2009, 12:50:45). Ive tried clearing my net cache, refreshing the page and running Ccleaner but its not changing. Its probably the Vaults fault again because its happened before to other people who have updated their content.
I know what you mean about all icons checking out fine in the toolset. Its in the game where the SoZ icons go screwy.

Ok, I uploaded a new 2DA version, a quick check in my toolset had the new SoZ scroll icons working correctly. Was my fault in the end, I had previously updated the wrong 2DA file. Sorry about that. Should work now.

Thanks again Knightmare. The download works now and I know they can be problematic on the vault sometimes so dont worry.
Right I have given them a go and I have a few things to report
I used these instructions in your readme file to install them again and it didnt quite work:
- Place the included 2DA file into your folder
:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override
- Place the entire folder along with the files in the folder named "icons" into your folder
:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\ui\default\images
The 2da worked but the icon textures werent working so I tried simply placing everything in My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override. No other folders and directories were necessary and caused the toolset to crash on exit anyway. So placing the 2DA file with all of the icon Targa files straight into the Override folder worked like a charm.
However there is one more problem and that is there is a bug of some sort causing all of the new SoZ scroll icons to show a 2DA no texture error.
Zhjaeve Know that I must begin every sentence with the word Know. Know that everything I say must be known. Know that it is important that you know this.
Why it does that is beyond me, I just upload the file, the site here handles the download part. The only thing I was able to do is compress the 2DA in a RAR file. It should work as a download for you now.

Thanks Knightmare
The new link doesn't produce a download though. I just brings up a list. _________________________ ShockWolF - Author of Wulverheim

Hey there, yes, it's seriously out of date - almost 2 yrs. old. I'll have to update it for the newest 2DA files.

This mod might have worked in the past but does it work now? Im not seeing any comments and votes since 11/08/2007? Thats a long time and all I can say is Ive tried this icon pack just now (only 2 of the links above seem to work) and all it does is turn every single icon in the game into a nasty multicoloured No Texture error icon.
I followed the instructions in the readme. Have I done something wrong or is this icon pack very out of date and in serious need of an update?
Sadly it could be riding on a big fat score of 1 otherwise. :-(

I've been making "vendor trash" items for my campaign to change it up a bit from just gold and gems to sell, and I found a lot of use for these icons. They vary in quality, but there's no shortage of quantity.

Giving this a straight up 8 for now. My icons appear white in the toolset but are fine in game, making it a little difficult when dealing with so many thin, small, medium... etc items. I'm using 1.06 so this may be the cause of that. When/If that gets fixed I'll up the score a bit.
Ego says to give this a 10 since some of my stuff is in there, but I'll play fair.
I do think its an excellent add on. For now all I have to do is open up the icons in Photoshop and note the filenames of the ones I want to include in my mod. Its a bit of a hassle but not Knightmares fault in my opinion.
Thanks for working with me Knightmare and let me know of any future plans to update or new creations.

Yes, those are actually models that got through my editing process, they are not icon pics. Any file with a letter after the number designation falls into this category. I will try to delete them for the 1.04 patch update. As is, the files should not pose any problems. I believe they can be safely ignored.
