CB Model Pro was built around the idea that surfaces should be manipulated directly. The result is a very intuitive and highly productive tool for 3D content creation that seamlessly fits into the production pipeline. CB Model Pro was developed by the creators of Cosmic Blobs, the award-winning entry-level 3D graphics software.
3D FOR ALL
CB Model Pro is part of Dassault Systmes exploratory initiative to promote the discovery and use of 3D to all kinds of consumers, in particular young users. Innovative technology development, with products such as CB Model Pro, and interaction with many market communities serves as an incubator for new software concepts and continues to drive thought leadership towards 3D For All."
Wouldn't Milkshape 3D be better for generating low polygon models, or is that too FPS centric?

After messing with it for a bit.
It's extremely easy to use, but is only really good for making crude models, A proper package like 3DSMax can achieve a far greater degree of precision. The model is produces will take a lot of extra work in a real 3D package to make ready for say, NWN.
The built in texturing option is only useful for reference purposes and definatly can't subtitute proper texturing.Plus there is no means of shaving off the excess polygons and turning them into a normal map and a low-count base model like some more advanced software of the same concept can do.
Thats my report anyway ^^
5.0 because it does what it's meant to well, but it's not meant for NWN or video game modelling, so it doesn't really bare looking at besides out of curisoity.

In it's raw state I suspect the polycounts are going to be far far too high for gaming use, unless it has a built in system to reducing polycounts and exporting the additional smaller polygons into a normal map directly.
Could still be useful though as a freeform modelling program for exporting and then shaving off the polycount in a secondardy program like 3DSMax...
