Patch  1.05
Description
Fusion is an advanced toolset for NWN2 persistent worlds. It provides powerful but easy to use data management using MySQL (or ODBC) database along with NWNX and an base mod for building persistent worlds.

Top among the many tools in Fusion is a Quest/Conversation editor that lets you create any kind of complex behaviors or quests without any additional scripts. Since the conversation data is pulled from the database, you can add/edit NPC dialog without rebuilding or restarting your module!

IMPORTANT: This toolset is functional but still considered alpha-ware. There are bugs and/or crash conditions that are still being worked out. Check the site frequently for updates and thanks for the patience. Your input is most welcome.

Needs recompiled for the current toolset. All the news is months old on the site and in their forum. It appears development has stopped.

Any way to have the plugin re-compiled for 1.06 hotfix?

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I finally corrected a nasty .NET/XML bug in the plugin mode, so it should work correctly now with release EA6.

I guess the real reason we find it useful is to manage aspects of the mod without using the toolset (a risky endeavor) and also for managing data that has to be in a database to connect multiple mods together. But its not something everyone will need to do.

Hmm hmm, what score to give. To tell the truth, I'm sure I'll never use it, cause we don't have that problem with many people working on the conversations, so updating once in a while doesnt bother us.

I dont see the size issue at all chris mentions. From our 1,2 GB PW module < 100 MB are everything else than areas. To store areas that way makes no sense, so reduced memory and the like doesnt seem to be an issue to me, even though I know a very story-driven mod would have a higher percentage of non-area data.

But it _is_ groundbreaking, even if I personally at the moment, based on the given version of this fusion toolset, don't yet see awesome potential.

*sighs*
Okay, technical achievement 9
Value as I see it 6 (may be improved)
*takes the average*

Awesome approach to remove what .mods handle poorly (storage). Any plans to use your db connection from the Toolset to store a menagerie of customized NPCs/monsters/items? That could really trim down module sizes (and server memory footprint); especially beneficial between modules in a campaign or a multi-instanced PW with many shared objects.
