Every road goes somewhere, and the long road has reached it's destination on the shores of the sea in a great city. In this 24 x 24 area you will find a city that could easily serve as the capital of a small nation. There are too many things to list and perhaps too many things for some computers to render. I hope you find it useful.

Cities are a thing that bothers me the most to create, as it is timeconsuming, and to my opinion not very enjoyable. But your area really has made creating cities a pleasure, as you have really succeeded at not only creating a massive city, but also an environment which really gives us beautiful scenes while standing on those city walls. A definate Must Have, I don't know about others but I have really enjoyed exploring this city and will certainly use it. Thank you for this great contribution. Yours sincerely,
OMH

Your maps are some of the best work I have seen. They are being added to my module. I found one little glitch in "The Long Road (5 of 5). In the southern part of the city, the surface mesh leaves a huge square between two buildings unwalkable. I can't seem to find the cause of this. I rebaked it and it's still the same.

THis is simply amazing. The only downside to this is that it will be used so often I fear.

all these areas are wonderfull and i cant say enough about them!
Thanks, Megyery. :-) I'm leaving on a business trip tomorrow and will not be returning home until the 23rd of this month but, when I get back I plan on doing some more areas, so you won't see anything from me until around the end of the month. I've really enjoyed building these areas. Until then, I wish everyone pleasent gaming. _________________________ The toolset has gotten much better.
A quick note: The stairs near the keep have some odd spots in thier walkmesh but, they do work. If you have trouble with them while in game try clicking all the way up or down them depending on which way you are going.
Also, if you notice the strange smoke and lights under the keep bridge that passes between the two towers and you wonder why it's there. I couldn't find any textures in the placeables that were visible from underneath. Sooo, the smoke is to abscure the view and the lights are to make it look as if it is being held up by magic. If you don't like it I suggest deleting all of it including the bridge itself because it looks bad when you can see through the bottom using the drive cam. Enjoy. _________________________ The toolset has gotten much better.

Another incredible work. The city design is very creative, with differents heights, a very nice ground, surprising slopes and wonderful landscapes. Discover the cemetery is a nice quest!! :). The only negative point is, perhaps, the problem with the walkmesh in the city stairs and in a few located places into the town. Anyway, it´s a pity that Long Road has finished, because it has given us some of best areas I have seen. _________________________ sic luceat lux
