This is my first offering. It is the city center for a module I'm building. I was inspired by the Forbidden City in Beijing. There are no working doors or anything, but it took a lot of work and I thought someone out there might want to use it.
Thanks you for your feedback. Yes, Jackyo, the area playes a significant role in my module "Worth Dying For."
MorningWaits, I wanted to use curbs, but maybe I'm missing something. All of the Curb placeables are wierd shapes. I was looking for something simple as a boundry.
In any event, the city's gardening staff is twice the size of it's army.
See how it goes from directly stone to sand to grass? It doesn't quite work that way (aside from the stone to sand). Transition them a little, maybe have a curb between them or blend the two a little. Don't take offense to it at all, I personally suck at texturing. Just trying to help some. :) If you're not going for the ultra-realistic, don't worry about any of this. :)

This city looks great. Hope someone uses it for a mod - or you do. Too pretty to waste. _________________________ Jackyo [email protected]
I wanted it to be that square and "inorganic." It's supposed to represent the inhabitants of the city. They tore down and graded all of the natural beauty, to replace it with their view of beauty.
Anyway, what do you mean about the texture transitions? I'd likee to improve the area if I can.
Don't know why you assume you need robots to make squares, or anything symmetrical. Take the Pyramids for example, while not square they are definitely symmetrical and did not require the use of robots to construct. _________________________ I believe in science and that science can explain everything,
