This is my first Area Prefab, nothing spectacular. I wanted to create a Pyramid for a desert module, either for myself, or anyone else who may have a need for a large pyramid.
The area is only 16x16, and the Pyramid is actually a part of the terrain. I just raised up the terrain in the desired shape and then texturized it. If you want the pyramid to face a certain direction, then just change the direction "North" is facing in the toolset. I'm sure that someone can create better looking dunes than my feeble attempt, my main concern was raising the temple.
I've included in this download Desert_Pyramid as an *.erf (Area) and as a *.mod, for a quick look at the area.
I hope someone can find a good use for this. Enjoy!
Thank you kindly for the comments, downloads, and ratings! :-)

Gotta give you a 10, because this has be the coolest pyramid solution I have seen so far. I will be using this to curb some time off our expansion.

Marvelous, I'll be using this, but it so players have a longer walk up to the pyramid.

Thank you for submitting this! I remember my friend saying: what a shame pyramids are not supported within NWN2. And I am fairly advanced at the Toolset, but never though this was actually possible. Sometimes it takes imagination to create something. Thanks again for sharing, and I will definately use this in my PW.
Yours sincerely,
OMH

Good demonstration of a pyramid! _________________________ Québec!

"Here's an area featuring a Ziggurat that I am currently working on that was created fully with YATT and Photoshop. Zero editing was done on this area in the toolset (so far). When it is done I will release it on the vault (but it uses custom made textures):"
Nice! I like that design! Especially the stairs going up!

"Nice, though not a new idea Link . I like what you've done with the place, especially th entrance. I never used them in my mod as I never returned to modeling Djelibeybi."
Cool, thanks! I guess that great minds think alike! ;-)
I was fiddling around with the toolset on a test module of mine, trying to make a mountain range, when one of my mountains started to look like a pyramid. That's when I go the idea to try this out.

"Would you mind sharing the brush settings you used for this? "
Not really good at explaining this, but it's easier if you turn on the walk mesh so that you can see the web of lines, and then starting with the base of the Pyramid, raise a square(2.0 height). For the outer edges, I used the smallest brush size(1,0) and raised the terrain one shape at a time. Next layer, smaller square, height(4.0), etc...
Hope that helps.

That looks pretty damn cool! I hope someone can get some use of this in a mod. There's something very sinister and eerie about Pyramids I think.
Good work!
Thanks! This will come in very handy on a project I am working on. I had designed "Egyptian like structures and had only planned on one small pyramid. You have saved me an enormous amount of time. Keep 'em coming!!
