Hi everybody, releasing my next prefab called Iron Hills or Iron Canyon. This is my redition of Tolkien's Iron Hills in Middle Earth.
You can change whatever you want on the area, I hope everybody will enjoy it as I enjoyed making it. Updated Iron Hills, not sure why but vfx pack for waterfalls did not upload. Should find in winrar file Readme, erf of mod and data folder for vfx, just copy into C:\Documents and Settings\Tepers\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\override and your should see all effects.

Not sure why you are having that problem Knightmare. Are you able to open up other mods that use hacks. Have you tried rename nwn2 folder in mydocuments,Next open up the toolset. It will rebuild all the folders then copy over the required hacks for areas along with any vfx folders. Also you might want to check if you are patched to 1.0.1116 in addition to having MOTB since I am using sunken city ruins placeables in some areas. You might want to check to see if you have to many background programs running. Ctrl+Shift+ESc will bring up Task Manager and you can check out your memory and processes that are running.
I hope this helps out, in a few weeks I will be releasing version 2 of Iron Hills along with new areas that will use skull hak.
Got a problem here. I'd like to check out the prefab but the area crashes my toolset upon trying to open it. I even tried a fresh download of the prefab on a totally fresh module, had same results. Any ideas?
SGK73 Thanks for your comments and vote. I will certainly work on water reflection/refraction. Maybe one day we will have a list of settings for water on the vault which would benefit all. I will certainly start keeping a list of settings in my journal for future use and when I have enough compiled will post on vault for all to use and add to. Again Thank you and will continue making more prefabs. I have some ideas for areas still working on edoras, but would like to do either blue mts. or grey mts.

Excellent texture selection and blending, you really are good at creating dry areas. The tree and placeables selection and placement are good, no floating trees or houses that I could see:). The walkmesh is clean and has good room for movement.
One thing that didn't look too good, but that's probably just me; the cyan couloured riverbeds. It looks good as such just not "real" but it's a fantasy game so...
A tip is to make the texture under the waterplane muddy or sandy depending on the type of river/lake you are creating and then increase the reflect/refract value to have more sky/terrain/placeables reflected so that determines the colour of the water. The problem is that it's just a plane not a volume so it's not the easiest thing to make goodlooking water. However if you where making say a harbour or other deepwater map then it would be a good thing to simulate deepwater with a greenish texure/vertex colour.
Hope you make more hill type areas and more Tolkien inspired areas.
Just posted update, I notice that the vfx pack did not upload for some reason with original update. I updated hoping it will post soon with water fall effects.
