Within the Infernal Realm, bordered by a bleak river, is a place where mortal souls toil at the mercy of a demonic nobility that dwells in darkest luxury behind the walls of a mighty castle perched high atop an imposing cliff, and protected by a series of gates. On the other side of the region... a path leads down... to a half-hidden shrine housing a portal to even lower depths.
A massive volcano looms over streams of lava, and a columned temple of the Fallen commands a view of the entire landscape from atop it's unholy mount.
Special thanks to SGK73 for the Quarry prefab, which formed the foundation on which I built the Infernal Kingdom. :)
Update: I've fixed the cliffs around the temple and improved a bit of it's architecture while adding more sounds.

This is a very well done area. I "walked around" in-game and the visuals and terrain are very good. Everything seems to work, its a big area, and has very creative atmosphere (moody, oppressive, creepy, et al). The lava is really moving fast--that's the one thing that looked a little off to me. Anyhow, thanks for the excellent submission. I may try to use it in the mod I'm working on.

Good to see you making areas for nwn2. Its really good. Some of the texturing and height is a little off looking. I can see you'll be able to do wonders with resizable placeables. I hope you'll make a lot more.
The fixed version is now up and ready for download. I must say, the temple's cliffside does indeed look much better and more natural. Thanks again, SGK73!
Thanks for the praise... and, for the advice... SGK73; as soon as I get the cliffs sorted out (placeable rockfaces made into environmental placeables is the way to go for sure), I'll upload the fixed version. With any luck, I'll have it done by tomorrow at the latest.

A nice rebuild. Good choice of textures and a nice change in day/night.
One minor thing, you might want to disguise the sheer vetricals where you raised the temple with some rockfaces.
I actually like the mood of this one better then my own.
