I designed this winter village some time ago, but i dont think i have any use for it anymore. So why not share it with you out there, maybe one of you can find a good use for it.
The area comes with a completed texturemap, walkmesh, walkmesh cutters, lightsources and has been tested for performance with up to 15 npcs.
If you like it go ahead and vote. Maybe i can come up with some other stuff too if there are enough people interested ;)

I just explored it in the toolset and as a module and although I only wanted to get some inspiration for building my own winter village I have to admit, that I think of it as a waste of time now.
Your prefab village is just perfect, you even managed to mask the repeated use of buildings with well thought placing and the area transitions are also flawless.

Very interesting. I am going around the Vault collecting the snow-covered landscapes, and this looks very fitting indeed. Cheers for making it. _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. I'm *not* kidding!

Sadly that is a feature i cant create on my own ;)
I tried to change the walking sound when you walk on the snow texture back to the good old nwn1 snowwalk sound, but it ignores my 2da changes completely. _________________________ Level Designer - Ossian Studios NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate - NWN2's only Adventure Pack

Very nice... the only thing that could make this any better is seeing your breath as you are walking around Waldheim.

Fabulous-looking screenshots. I will have to download and try it out in-game. Thanks for your hard work!

I have to agree, a great layout with good use of the walkable tiles. You have really captured the feel of an small village in the winterlands and great attention to detail.
I add my voice to a call for you to do more prefabs !
Thanks for your kind feedback. My texturework is still not as good as that of my fellow area designer rfaccioli, but i try my best. _________________________ Level Designer - Ossian Studios NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate - NWN2's only Adventure Pack
I agree. Please do more areas. This looks very good. :)

This is the best small village area yet on the Vault!
Excellent textureing and layout of the area. Too bad there aren't any racks of drying fish among the resources:)
You have really managed to do nice texture blending snow->mud which is hard, atleast I think it is.
The surrounding area is also textured to a good level which is something most builders tend to forget to do.
The walkmesh is good, well perhaps the spots of ice could have been done with a walkmesh helper and not a cutter, I know they're a pain to get working right. A tip is to place four additional walkmesh helpers to to help the main one, one small at each corner and very slightly below it, this does not always work as intended but it's an option.
The a few of the fence pieces by the wagon near the boat is floating, one always miss a few so...:)
Some sound could have improved the area a bit but that's easy enough for module builders to add.
