This is the exterior of a great ruined fortress, once a part of High Shanatar but now forlorn and monster infested. These ruins are stair stepped, but the only way to reach the top is to go through caves crawling with evil! This is only the exterior, the interiors are left out so that you can fill them content appropriate to your module. The Ruins include defensible positions that are designed to make it tough for players to reach the top. Again, these ruins lack interiors and sounds, there are placeables and grass and everything else needed to make the area look forboding.
