As there has been some question (I'm not sure why) this is not a single player module that you play through.
This is a prefab module (for builders)for those who don't have the time to put together the base of your module. Add your own stories, use parts of it. It is meant to be for a large multiplayer module.
Hopefully, it will be the start someone needs to create some buzz in the NWN2 world with their module.
*Updated high-res photos with desc. at bottom as of now
**More pictures of what I have done can be found here: Link
***Much of that site is outdated and the areas that you download here may be a little more finished - either way it will be a good resource to see exactly what is in these files.
This was started to be a sequel to the Path of Ascension. As time went on, I realized my ultimate goal would not be achievable by myself. The idea to throw this module up on the vault has been in my head for many months now, and after joining various teams, trying to modify it, etc... I just never found anyone with the work ethic to help to finish it.
This was made to be a level 10-20 hack/slash persistent world. It even Beta tested for quite a while but I couldn't get the scripters I needed for the final result I desired. Also, after having my second child time is not something I have much of anymore.
In this mod you will find many unique creatures and 37 unique areas (I have added an additional 6 below here). In my opinion they are all very well-done. Transitions have all been placed, many triggers and creatures have been placed, convo scripts, stores, you name it it is here. Hopefully, this is exactly what someone has been looking for. You can modify it how you want, rip it apart, it's all fine with me.(Yes you can even change the name)
As of now I have the low, medium, rare, unique treasure system in place with a lot of unique items - again this is all set for something that I was trying to balance, but it all can be easily changed. Yes, this module was nearly complete, but I just don't have the time to finish it. After at least 300 hours into this thing I just realized I needed a change.
Here's an additional challenge for people. If you modify it and make it work, and want to make this into a top-notch multiplayer module, I will join your team to help finish it.
I think Ideally I would move the levels back to 3-20 and start from there. Creatures would have to be rebalanced, but there is a lot to build on.
Please let me know if you have been able to use my work. I'd love to see feedback on it all.
PS Not every area there has pictures to the right, but I've covered most of the bases and you can find every area at the link above.
***Updated to include map overlay of the 37 areas in the EW_POHA_BETA file
Hopefully you can use this. I put it together in just about an hour and a half, it's nothing too special but sometimes basic things help out a lot. This will show you how to get to each area.
**The walkmesh could probably still use a little work on this area.. but I'm throwing it out there as I think it's a great area. Between these 3 files there are 43 areas. (2 large outdoor areas here)
This file includes a few completed areas that weren't put into the module yet. These include three goblin-type areas (one with an ancient portal setting), and a Nexus (which could be used for a variety of things). These areas were actually going to be integrated into the Trinity portions of the mod which never happened.
37 areas linked together, mostly polished. You'll find a lot of unique critters, weapons, armor, and miscellaneous items here as well. Many stores have been setup and you could go from this to an online module in just a few weeks. This could be the very file you are looking for to get you going in the NWN2 toolset.

The Chasm was, in my opinion, the coolest area. The Arena & Treehouse were creative additions. The texture jobs on most of the exterior areas seemed unfinished though.
I learned a few things (such as how to do bark strings) from pulling this mod apart.
Thanks for uploading this for everybody. It would be nice if more people uploaded entire PW's. _________________________ Ugly_Ducks Portfolio

Excellent start for a world, with much detail. A server that I visit has used this as its foundation and expanded on it.

I started to Finish this recently adding quests and conversations, also i replaced the entire spawn system but The areas, with only a few exceptions are amazing, there were 1 or 2 minor corrections that needed to be made but all in all as a pre-fab i'd agree with 2 weeks of solid work you could customize this easily and have an PW running in no time. Definitly worth a look for anyone who wants to start an story/ action style server. I may release my re-vision of this on the vault soon Which is basicly the exact same monsters, areas, bosses ect with a new spawn system and 10 quests for a storyline.
PoeticDreamer, a ping of 16 is awesome. The lower the number in a ping the better the connection. I generally look for servers with a ping less than 400, as anything over that has a lot of lag (for me). _________________________

I tried to put this on a server to test it, to see what i will have to do to make this a viable gaming server. I am only getting 16 ping, i am wondering if this is because of some error with the module. i have 2 gig of ram on a dual core system and 20 meg cable so i should be getting alot more than a ping of 16.

I think it was very nicely done. In trying to create my own areas, just doing 1 has taken me over a week so far, so I am very aware of the time and effort that went into this. I think you did an awesome job.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I am thinking of taking this to 1.10 but not sure I have come across the time or motivation yet.
As far as comments on story line - to be honest I took much of the story line out before submitting this - that was not the point. Anyway, hope you are all enjoying - I'd love to have some additional feedback to show where this has been taken to etc... Maybe someone could give me a reason to update it :) _________________________ Gaming Review Guide
I see that this module is getting quite the undesired attention even if it does not merit it. To all who would not consider this module to be worth being one of the top on the list please consider the following :
- By downvoting this module you are actually omiting the votes of other users left behind you. If you would actually like to see better modules on the top of the list then just vote for them.
After all a module needs 25 votes to be considered for Hall of Fame status and at least an overall score of 8. Votes, even as low as one help this module get closer to Hall of Fame status and climbing up in the Hall of Fame list of modules.
- By the NWN 2 voting standards on this Vault anything above 8 is "excellent, recommended to anyone". Like most user pointed this is a good submission but not "one of a kind one". If take a look at the top ten modules on the right all of them with no exception have more votes and number of downloads. True modules get proper credit and in time while this submission although nice would have a really hard time getting into the Hall of Fame in the next half an year or so while at least another 18 modules will make it there in its place.
- Building takes time in NWN 2. Building areas with some backstory tied to them takes even longer. Building a whole world that has a certain feeling and theme - well I would not even like to get into that. As what it stands this is a great resource and although not finished the idea behind it was simple - to be shared with the community. Being on the top of the list of modules helps potential builders find something to work with and drive inspiration from. Let us not forget the NWN 2 DMs who DM sessions on NWN 2 instead playing them around a table as PnP sessions. This is a huge time saver for such people who could use some of the areas for their next adventure or the whole module.

Nice work Tankage.
Havent been right through this, but the 80% or so I have toyed with in the toolset is excellent mate.
Shuld be more of this type of content for others to use for a pw or add i ns for there mods/worlds.
Once again job well done Tankage.

I love this mod so far. Hope someone can finish it.

It IS very good and deserves a look. Areas are well crafted, but someone needs to fill it with a nice story. Until then, it's not that interesting for the average mod player. Just my two cents.
The texture wierdness is because this module is based on pre-1.10 code and the texture swapping ability that was added to the game. A lot of modules have messed up interior textures now. This can be fixed in the toolset, but the author will need to do it and update the mod. _________________________ Mokah - The Grumpy Strumpet || Dear Strumpet Letters|| Jabberwocky Development Blog|| Vertex I - The State of the Union ||

there are not many prefabs like this availabe for nwn2 so its nice to have this. thanks tank!
Does everyone else get strange looking graphicals in this? I am seeing green and white stripes all over the various caverns and a quarter of the respawn area is all red, not like it looks in the screenshot? _________________________ I'd rather a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
I was looking for a module that I could use as a recording basis for videos. This is just what I need. A city+more without doing the actual building of the area. Lazyness at it's finest, I'm sure.
Thanks for the comments. As I have said before, you can do ANYTHING you want with this. There are no restrictions. _________________________ Gaming Review Guide

Hey man, I'm getting so much use out of this as a learning tool. I wrote out what I think is a pretty cool storyline, but my toolset skills just aren't up to the task of doing the story justice. I'm playing around with these areas to learn some different things, and may even, with your permission, use some edited versions of these areas in my own module.
Regardless, thanks for all the hard work, man. _________________________ "You see what happens, Larry??" -Walter Solchek

Great seeing someone pass their hard work onto the community. Really nice job _________________________ << The Smiling Bandit strikes again Ha, Ha, Ha >>
I am literally closer to tears than I've been in years :P (Yes, I'm that pure-blood of a Nerd!) Basically, I've been desperately wanting to make a mod that will let me take a character from level 1 to 30 through a progressive level-per-quest xp system, with mostly large-scale hack'n'slash quests. (EG, for level 15, you may have to restore a massive network of underground crypts by weeding out the evil spirits). Now that you've done the basic work, I can just make the encounters (still a huge pain in NWN2 :P). You're a genius and I love you! xD
