Having no screen shots didn't scare me off. :)
I felt the rustic look of a battle ready encampment was dead on. It may not be pretty, but it had the right flavor for what you were going for.
The water had great color and nice details in the river beds.
One thing you may like to consider is the backdrop. It lacks detail with it's perfectly flat floor like grass and with symmetrically placed trees. The back drop gives as much to the illusion as the rest of the area.

I find it very plain and a bit basic, also heavily charged for a so simple area. (low frame rate). There is not even a bit noise in the ground, looks like a big carpet. Borders could also be more worked so they don't look that unnatural, and water is placed over the edges of the rive.
Apart from that, it could be worked and making some improvements it could be a nice area, but still not a very original concept. _________________________ CO mapper
Sounds perfect for the Sword Coast and Silverymoon areas. A picture would be nice, however. I will download it anyway and return with a vote after I see it.

High score for an original idea. Pretty it's not, but then I don't think it's supposed to be.
