- Harbor of Sands - A town situated on a crag being a gateway between a warm, unnamed sea, and a deadly, uncharted desert. The first and only resting point for travelers venturing into the sands.
- Skyship - Flying ship slowly traveling in the clouds above seas and lands.
- Astral Castle - A castle hanged in the endless void enveloped in glare.
(This area is a part of the Official Polish Server - Aeris.)
NOTE: Module uses Heed's walkable ships hak for static ship model of the skyship, but the area can by used with standard ship model (walkmesh is independent from it)
I downloaded this to run around and check it out. I opened WinRAR and when I tried to place the file in my "mod" folder. I got an error
! C:\Documents and Settings\Michele\Desktop\Harbor_of_sands.7z: Not enough memory
! C:\Documents and Settings\Michele\Desktop\Harbor_of_sands.7z: Error - operation failed
I have more than enough memory, and space *shrugs*
Any ideas?
thanks
Liso

I will not get back to Loudent's remarks, but want to confirm that the map really deserves a look, but can still be improved upon.
I especially liked your airship! Brilliant really. The lay-out could be improved, but the idea is marvelous and I will definitely use the idea in my persistent World. Your sky effect is also very well done. Really, excellent. It really gave a feeling of wind burdened by sand carried along from miles away.
Your textures are simplistic and could use some more diversion, and more complex tints. But as it stands, it is really worth the look. Besides that try to add a little more grass, and make your water edges more fancy. You also have some strange peaks which, taking into account the continuous sandy wind, aren't possible in real life. They are very sharp, and badly edited (walkmesh issues).
I'd say, as a Module it is a qualified recommendation. But your idea is very inspiring. Thank you again for this contribution!
Yours sincerely,
Over My Head

7 - Very Good, Deserves a look.
I looked only at the port itself, not the flying ship.
Solid area. Some feedback:
1) Convert as many placeables as you can to environment objects. There's a bunch of small rocks and stuff that are left as placeables that could be converted)
2) Add a few more texture layers in some areas. (not my forte so can't recomend how)
3) Some of the buildings/structures has a "had empty place, used random structure" feel to them. (e.g. that half stage tucked awawy in the middle left) and the buildings seem somewhat haphazardly placed. Picture how this town came about and build up from there.
For example, it probably started right at the water level and built up from there. So the oldest, most worn buildings should be right at the bottom, with newer/more expensive strucutres higher up. Nobles typically claim the highest land so put a few estates there. That sort of thing.
4) Add some sounds through the city.
I gave it a solid 7 with an addtional .5 for being very close to what I was looking for. I think a little clean-up and I'll gladly up my score.

Happened to be just the thing I've been keeping an eye out. I'm going to poke around it a bit before giving it a score/feedback.
