Acorncroft is a classic ring-walled fort on the sparse flatland where you find a small middle age-style village of 14 thatched country cottages complete with pigs, cows and chicken. Close to the fort lays a place of sacrifice.
Instructions (sort of):
For your convenience there are two downloads. On .mod so you can easily test it by playing and one .erf that you import into the toolset. Both are baked and has sounds placed and the animals has ambient animations enabled. All doors are locked and has a spoken locked message. Just enable the doors you want to use by unchecking the locked box under properties.
Just fill it with NPCs and Heroes and start telling the story. Feel free to modify/use it in your campaign or module.
Tutorial:
When making this Prefab area I made some notes that could be used as a area design tutorial. If you want to you can check it out in the tutorial section:

Very nicely built area, good use of texturing, imaginative use of placables and well laid-out. Two outer walls seem to have a slight walkmesh instance, but this area is worth a look. Good work! _________________________ Loudwater / KOW / Khalidine

A very nice area. It suites a saxon village for the PW I am working on. Nice work. _________________________ Slimer

No way. Just *no way*. I am writing my next module, and this is 100% match to the area I need, as I was planning it this morning. I am just about to do a little dance. Thank you for posting it for DL! _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. I'm *not* kidding!

Wow this is a very nice area. There is alot of "intimate" spots here, which really capture the essence of scene. When people remeness of old memories, very rarely poeple think of an entire city, state, or country. Its usually those unusual locales where they would say.." I met my first love here..." or "I learned how to ride my bike on that pavement."
I will use this as inspiration for an area like it. If I wasn't so hellbent on creating my own areas, I would use this one in a heartbeat. _________________________ AKA: GuardianofLore.
