The Temple of the Rose is My start Area for my own module that is in the Making War of the Rose.
But becaus i am pretty new to the tool set i have decided to make some of my work available as prefabs so that it can be tested out and i can get some feed back on a few things.
For now it is only one Area, but i plan to get more out there so it can be tested.
Now to my ideas around this room is empty with a sense of foreboding.
Something bad happened her and i try to portray that with some cold lighting and fog effects.

I think like AmstradHero, this is too big or too empty. To correct this, just Ask yourself "what this place was created for ?". And tho, modify the size of the area and add some content to give it the right feeling.
Your right it feels to empty right now and it will need to be cut down a bit and get filled out, but if it gets to filled it could ruin the unnatural empty feeling and the contrast to my next area of a very tight space.
Now i plan to make it some what smaller in some ways and add some more Statue like things and stuff to make things look more rundown and spooky.
Agian thanks for the comment.

You've created a somewhat spooky atmosphere here, but I feel you've fallen into exactly the same trap I did when I made my first area - I feel that it's too large, as I'm getting a real sense that it feels unnaturally empty to the point where I feel its unfinished. Unless you're going to need a significant amount of room for combat in here, you really want to reduce the size of area down by a few squares and pack the placeables in more tightly.
This not only has the added benefit of making the temple feel less empty, but also of really added to the chaos and untidyness of the area. _________________________ AmstradHero Fate of a City Module Development Blog Fate of a City Blog
