Another first attempt for me, this time an exterior area to go along with Grey Manor. It's pretty unpolished, but should not be too hard to spruce up.
If anyone has any suggestions to make it pop a bit more, please let me know.
**UPDATE**
This has been long delayed for no good reason really, but here is the reworked version of the Manor Grounds. I believe that it looks far better now than before, thanks a lot for the suggestions.
1) Don't use just one texture for each section of ground. NWN2 can have up to six in each large tile... throw a few more into the grass and mix it up a little.
2) Along with 1 above, don't paint your textures with 100% strength... in a small area I could believe the grounds are immaculately groomed, but for the whole area, there'd be some variation.
That said, this is a good, solid starting point for anyone needing a base area like this... a few hours of fine tuning would get them where they want to be. IMO obviously.
You should make an attempt at the old school module *Castle Amber* also known as *Chateau D'Amberville* it has a big manor house filled with nasties and such.
