One of the better area designs in the early introduction of prefabs for NWN2. The use of lighting is well done and the town is packed close enough to give enough places to explore without a lot of back tracking.
Rumor has it that an adevnturing party has gone missing, talk has been coming from the Drunken Wench Tavern of a strange howls coming from a cave to the north Do you wish to explore Lost Ruins of Zartroff: Link ?

Great work Eshin. Thanks for all the time put into this area. Just want I needed!
New version is up, I've added a few more things to the map. the walk mesh should be great now.. I spent alot of time working on getting that working properly. Only thing that bugs me is the curbs are working right.. you sorta walk threw them and not on them. But i'm not 100% sure i will keep the curbs in i may juts remodel the ground and textures in the town. If you see any more bugs let me know.
Wow i didn't realize how much work has to go in on the walk mesh to make it work well. I've added a bit more to the 3 mansions. What I'm wondering is i have custom VFX I've used for the fountain and waterfall if i should include them or just let everyone make there own on incorporate there own. Look for an update to this map on Monday and maybe a medium size Inn.
The environmental objects are essential when it comes to areas like yours. Otherwise the walk meshes are overloaded and won't bake. As for the bridge; Everyone in the community has had their share of problems getting bridges and docks to work properly. I haven't come across a concrete solution yet but I can share what I have learned so far. First thing is to place the bridge where you want it, making it slightly higher than the terrain. It's best to keep the terrain smooth on both sides of the bridge, if possible, as it makes it easier I believe. After the bridge is in place where you are happy with it, use Shift + Z and Shift + L to lock in the height and position. ( This prevents any movement when you go to bake ) Be sure that you DO NOT make the bridge walkable. It's my understanding that that particular feature actually makes the players able to "walk through" not "on" the placeable. Hope that helps.
I look forward to your finished product and I will hold my vote until then. Good luck and keep up the good work.

I think it's great. I am a fan of both organization and randomness so I like it. You can tell that a lot of time went into it and it looks nice. _________________________ Gaming Review Guide
Hmmm 34 downloads and only 2 feedbacks and no votes.. well i hope everyone else enjoys what I'm doing. Aghar i figured out how to cut the walk mesh stuff so I've done that all already but for some reason i can't cross my own bridge =(
This tool set stuff is new to me I was going for a well run town by a L.G. Lord who enjoys looking at what he has created for his people. I haven't done much in the one section but I'll convert a lot of the stuff and do the cutting when I figure out how =) it will be my next update of the area.. i have a tavern that will be up for everyone soon. It was my first attempt at an exterior.
Looks nice. A little too clean and uniform of a city for my tastes. You can tell you put some time and thought into this though. If I could make a suggestion. I would start to convert alot of your placeables to enviromental objects and cut around them. If you don't, when you go to bake this area you will have a nightmare on your hands. The dreaded "white sqaures of doom" will appear everywhere. :(
