Who knows what lurks in The Unhallowed Ruins- that dark place of irredeemable blasphemies? Its unholy taint is said to invade the dream scape of any who make camp to close to the blighted glade in which it resides. Tales have tantalized my mind with images of fiendish lizardfolk and ravenous Yuan-ti. Even rumors of demonic cults have cropped up in the gossip circles of the bordering swamp towns. Perhaps most outlandish of all is one farmers claim of a great shadow that swept across his field toward that forbidden demesne. Some speculated it was a dragon while others contrived more unbelievable and horrible ideas than that - hellish fiends or a rampant flying abomination born of mad wizardry to name but two.
I myself made way towards the infamous caverns to uncover the truth of the mystery surrounding them. Neither adventure, nor the unholy are new to me. I have examined the ground where necromantic abominations have marched and fought bandits for life and goods; however, none of my experience had prepared me for the true vileness of the eldritch aura that permeated the humid air of that place. I must confess my fear far outweighed my curiosity and the alien howls and hisses and inhuman screams that came at night did little to encourage my naturally inquisitive mind. So I left that place, and I am better off for it I believe. It is my hope that one day heroes of greater combat experience and of superior valor will uncover the truth of The Unhallowed Ruins and purify it of whatever taint may lay there in.

Excellent work, Gremlin. Areas make good use of placeables and have a distinct feel to them. The actual layouts are also impressive. You took your time with these areas, and it shows. Well done.

This looks very interesting. I will vote once I get a chance to take a closer look but I expect we can make use of this in The Depths. One suggestion - You should extract this into an ERF and offer that as a download option, also compression would help _________________________ Segal
