The town rests against a great river in the foothills of mountains to the north and west. It grows every year from the goods it exports namely the valuable ore and marble from its quarry and mines to the west. Small farms have begun to crop up around the town as its wealth reaches new heights with every year that passes. To the south past the farmlands are forests and to the east across the expanse of the river thicker woods still.
****************************************
I built this town sometime ago and wanted to expand upon it with some of the areas mentioned in the description, but I never found the time. Instead of letting it collect digital dust I figured it might serve some use to the community, especially to any of you who want to get an online campaign going, but don't yet have a point a to start from. The screenshots illustrate only the exterior of the town, but there are 16 interiors as well. Hopefully the little bit of lore provided below is enough to inspire some ideas for quests or as to a possible flavor for the town.
****************************************
Temple: The spiritual center point of the town.
Townhall: A place where the people of the town may hold meetings - private or public.
Constable's Station: The Constable's office serves as a jail in addition to an office.
Northend Inn: A two story Inn located in the north of town. Its food may not be as good as the Kraven Kobold Tavern across the street, but they have beds to rest in for the night. It prides itself as an establishment more 'clean' than the Kraven Kobold Tavern.
Kraven Kobold Tavern: With gambling, musical entertainment, good drink and food the tavern steals away many of the
Northend Inn's customers. It is a local favorite and farmer's often come into town just for the ale.
Silks & Such: The local tailor shop.
Hallem's Emporium: Furniture, bookshelves, cushions, or models? Hallem's Emporium has it all.
The Hunter's Eye: Arrows, bolts, and bows of all sorts The Hunter's Eye is the place to go for the right equipment for taking down both beast and monster from afar.
Hammer & Tong: The local smith shop known for decent goods and unique customer service.
Lionside Tannery: Leather has been the Lionside family business since their great great grandfather and they have yet to stop making quality goods.
Barker's Butchery: The only meat shop in town is run by Barker - a half-orc who has adapted to civilized life - but of late there have been rumors and mystery as to where exactly he gets such high quality cuts.
Violet Spire Academy: Founded by a wizard - who decided to retire and call the town his home - to give the local children a basic education, and more talented youngsters training in the arcane.
Town Garrison: Headquarters for the town militia.
Cromwell Estate: Little is known about Lord Cromwell as he keeps to himself. What is known is that he is a wealthy man and retired to this little town to ''get away from it all''.
Abandoned House: The houses that are closest to the Harbor are not look so well and a particularly run down building has seen some shady activity as of late.

Thanks very much for sharing this!
This is pretty much exactly what I was about to spend the next 3 months of my life developing, and now I can just get on with writing and developing the plot... It's lovely!

This is a great package! The texture job is fantastic; everything blends together really well. I especially liked the texture work you did on the town road - good job & very creative. This opened up my mind with possibilities.
The building layout is cool & I liked the use of placeables in all of the areas. For someone looking to download a plug-&-play town, this is it. The conveniance of having a fully build town (meaning having interiors too) that is of this quality is priceless.
Nice work. I hope to see more areas from you Gremlin. _________________________ Ugly_Ducks Portfolio
