This is version 9 of the Frontier Reborn, a long-running persistent world set on the island of Calisia far to the west of Faerun. In it's prime the server regularly had 20-30+ players. It's fully functioning, requiring only a nwnx4 database/server.
Several of the key players behind this server are currently at work on a new server set in the dark ages of Arthurian Britain. Please take a look at Link if you're interested. We're looking to launch in May 2010.
The module is quite large, weighing in at 1.57 gb. We're also posting smaller groupings of areas to serve as prefabs.
It should also be noted that the module uses a custom leveling system called E8. This system stops leveling after 8 and instead uses a custom GUI to allow players to pick feats for every 5000xp they earn after reaching level 8. This can be disabled by going into the module's scripts and deleting the scrips "stoplevelup" and another script with the term 'e6' in it (I forget its exact name).
Current Status: All files are up. Unzip the haks into your documents/neverwinternights 2/hak file and add the module to your module file and enjoy.
This is the tlk file that goes with the module. Place this in your documents/neverwinter nights 2/tlk folder and make sure the module properties for the mod designate the file ("frontier.tlk").
Don't worry about the hardware, I run Dragon age and its toolset together with Blender all at the same time and the machine hums along quite happily. What wonders me most is that I can open the module in the toolset, bake areas, compile scripts etc. without problems and error messages (beside some minor script errors) but it won't load in the client nor on the stand-alone server (which is another machine). Never had such weirdness with nwn1.

Are you sure your computer has the specs to run it?

Thank you for also posting the tlk file. I removed the offending terrainmaterials.2da and grass.2da from frontier_v9_2da.hak which took care of the missing images mentionned in my previous post. At least the module now loads without errors in the toolset. But there is no way I can get this module to run. Not from within the toolset, nor with the regular client nor with the stand-alone server. In the client the module will start loading showing loading area 1... area 2... until area 6 and then stops stating that the module may be corrupt. Same thing happens with the stand-alone server, module starts to load and then just stops loading. This is a fresh nwn2 install with SoZ and MoB and fully patched. The module doesn't build without compilation errors but that shouldn't prevent it from loading. Any help in getting this module to run is greatly appreciated.

Found the better-illustrated maps. _________________________ Admin, Legacy: Dark Age of Britain. Link

Thank you... not quite what I was hoping for (I find an Excel sheet works best), but it does put things into some context. Much appreciated.

Well, I guess you asked for it. Disclaimer: these two maps were drawn with MS paint and are hideous. I can't find the pretty one we used on the public forums. But here they are. _________________________ Admin, Legacy: Dark Age of Britain. Link

One thing I often wish for in cases of a big release like this, is some kind of an area map, which shows people looking to use this how/where the exteriors connect to each other, and what interiors can be accessed from these areas. A tall order, for a big project, but I have to think something like this must exist somewhere, for the module to have gotten this big in the first place. Any possibility of something like this being made available?

AgedToPerfection, I worked on Frontier a bit. I think those errors might be from a 2DA error. I think some of the 2DA's were calling for bitmaps the module didn't use or have (I think). It's been a while since I worked on frontier, but I recall having that problem as well. Just click ok and ignore the errors.

Ah yes, the .tlk file. I shall upload that directly tonight, shouldn't have to wait for the ftp as it's a small file. The game should run without the tlk, you'd only run into issues when trying to use the e8 system's functions or some other more random items/feats in the module. _________________________ Admin, Legacy: Dark Age of Britain. Finally... the entry was half way to HoF status before the files were available. AgedToPerfection... in my experience, any time big projects like this are released to the community, things like the tlk are missed, as are things like missing files, or additional files that aren't related are included. Quite simply when things get as big as this, the team/person responsible has a hard time keeping everything straight. It'll get straightened out (or it won't)... Anphillia 2 and Talernon 2 releases were the same way. Thank you again for sharing!
