Some squared peaks but the overall result is very good and enjoyable, also very clean mapping. _________________________ The Ancient NWN Spanish Community Link

This is one of the more beautiful forest prefabs that are currently at the Vault. The soft ground textures are a delight to look at. I ran a PC through this area using a computer that just barely meets the system requirements for NWN2. With all shadows turned off, my frame rate was between 11 to 22 frames per second. Not bad at all. The area was relatively fast to load, which is an important consideration for any prefab.
The area needs a bit of work, though. I personally found the sky painfully bright in the daytime. Also, some of the cliff textures were stretched too much. I'd recommend setting the Specular Color of the campfire light to a yellow tone with a bit of orange in it so that highlights will be cast in that color.
The area is a bit confusing to navigate. Module builders who intend to use this prefab ought to modify the terrain a bit to make the navigation paths more obvious to players. This point does not detract from the score that I'm giving, however, because I much prefer that builders make their own modifications to any prefab to keep the areas from looking alike too much.
Overall, this is an excellent contribution to the Vault. Thank you for this. _________________________ Yay, I have a blog. Faithless: The Making of an NWN2 Module
