Heimta Iskarðí South, for the Neverwinter Nights Vault
---------------------------
Builder: TiclaDesign
Area type: Exteriour
Number of Areas: 1
Area(s) Size: 20X16
Tag: 02_hi_south
Project started: 20th of November 2010
Current status: FINISHED
Project finished: 28th of November 2010
---------------------------
Project/Builder Notes: Heimta Iskardhi south, with an abandoned/deserted Homestead that's becoming a ruins with crumbled walls, unfinished parts and a (main) Building that can be entered. The area itself is a Lowland/mountainous steppe like area where the player can move around on freely. It works very well with large creatures or many NPC's needing to navigate.
Last Minute Notes: The DayNight cycle has some issues in the morning transition, i'll see what's causing that.
Future Plans: Post a module of the area with the NPC's that belong in that area. (Lore specific)
Area Lore and Background:
This is the first of my "Heimta Iskarðí" prefab areas, based on the Lore of my books "Ticla the Skâldí".
Maybe one day i'll make a SP module out of them, but currently i'm releasing them as Vault Prefabs.
To the south of the village of Heimta Iskarðí (Home of the Black Birds) Lies a crossroad, only known to a few.
The Village shrouds itself in a thick fog, while to the south many black birds make their home in the
"Forest of the Standing Stones." It is said that on the day man cut down the last tree on the Hâlangard Plains,
the Hidden People of Heimta Iskarðí raised the monoliths to serve as the new trees, and homes to the Many Birds
that lived on the plains. This particulair area has a now abandoned homestead, maybe a tragedy had befallen it's occupants. No one knows, but the ever watchfull Totum of the God Odanaz, the watcher of all.
It stands there now on the highest hill, as a silent witness. None but Odanaz himself, knows the history
behind the Abandoned Homestead. At night, an eerie wind blows to announce the arrival of the "Northern Lights",
vengefull Whisp like beings that haunt the plains like magical wolfpacks. It is in those Hâlangard Nights that
people remain in their houses, doors and windows are sut tight.
Until the daybreak when the sun shines on the lands again.

Great map! Texture job wonderful, grass usage nice, terrain variance very cool, and the sounds are wonderful. I love the homestead ruins; very creative!
My only critique is that you may have wanted to use the color tool in more locations & changed the color type. I may be wrong & you might have already done this, but I had trouble seeing it.
