As the NWN2 incarnation of our PW closes, here is the entire PW for players and developers to download and play or use as they like. It has 150+ areas, over 1000 items, over 500 creatures, dozens of quests, and over 1000 custom scripts.
You MUST download these files in order to use the module, and they are a major download, at least 2 GB.

People who aren't capable of a few simple downloads can't possibly blame the content provider.
Log-in to his Talernon 3 server and you'll get the files. That seems quite simple.
Positively frustrating. I have checked back a few times looking for the hak link to be repaired, but oops, it still isn't working. I have tried to get the files through Tal3 as you suggested and all it does is take me to some discussion board. Would really love to play this, can you please fix the link or put the hak files directly into your download file location with the other files. Waiting ever so patiently.....

Again - if you log on the Tal3 server, the new haks will download, and you can assign them in the module, it fixes bugs.
Since people are not doing that, I will get the files back up here on this page. _________________________ Talernon3 - Age of Dragons Link

The link to the needed Hak files no longer has the files on it. Could you please post the Haks here?

Ignore my comments above. I didn't have "Normal mapped terrain" turned off.
I also found the files in regads to dieties well labelled in the hak packs and it was obviously easy to remove what I did not want.
Awesome work.
I haven't found any real journal quests, or many quests for that matter so it makes it a good basis to start a campaign I am working on for a group.

Hi,
Installed and running fine on a server. Excellent world.
Two things,
1) for some reason the Helsig woods textures are not showing up in game (texture not found) I have all the haks running. ? Possibly an incorrect file?
2) Do you remember which hak pak changes all the spells and which one changes all the gods? I want to modify your world (lots of nice work done) to incorporate into my gaming group. However people want to use the standard pantheon from FR.
Oh yes and in my defence. well there aren't many NWN2 modules avaialable. So can you imagine the sheer joy I felt when I sa your "module"? A quick glance through 60 hours long, probably reaching 20th lvl. My goodness I wanted to play it straight away.
Hopefully you can therefore understand how some of us were a little disappointed.
So the error message that Clamore and I have had is?
My pc is nearly a year old with 3gb ram and 512 gb HD (although 1 year old is ancient in computer terms).
When I reinstalled it didn't take 3 mins probably about 5 mins.
But the bottom line is that this is not a "module" it is a PW module and will be way too large for us normal folks with a not so powerful machine.
Once again thanks on behalf of the PW community for allowing players or DMs to use it. But I wish that it had been clearly specified that it is only really for the PW community. Would have saved some of us a bit of time.
Still don't understand why some "creations" are included as modules.
Finally as I am thinking of buying/upgrading my pc. What are the specs of your pc.
Cheers

Sorry sir, but you are wrong. It is a module, and if you are unfamiliar with how a directory works, I am sorry. Search the NWN forums, or Google. NWNX4 has a mode where it loads this, and it appears on a normal server instance as well. On my uber comp I can load it in the toolset or in the game in under 3 minutes. Perhaps it is overwhelming for your system, and unsuitable for your use. *shrug*
I have been doing this for a long time now as well, note that both my PWs did rather well. If the mod did not work out for you, vote and move along. Stop whining. Thanks. _________________________ Talernon3 - Age of Dragons Link

If its not for people to play do not post it under modules. I have been doing this for a long time and know a little about what I am doing. The way you have composed your folder is overwhelming for the system. You need to break it down and put the components pertaining to characters and equipment and such in an override folder and create a module that is leaner for play. Somehow your huge folder is overriding compressed system folders even if you place it as a folder in the modules directory.

Sorry if you do not know how to load a directory, obviously it does not go into the override folder lol.
A directory module is for when a module is too big to load normally. Remember, this was a persistent world.
To be quite honest, the people that will get the most out of this are other PWs and module developers. Using it for areas, critters, scripts, and the like was my intent.
Sorry the damn thing crashed your game and you have to reinstall. As a friend of mine who works for a tech support says, "Statistically, 99% of errors and issues are caused by the user" . . . something which I saw when I ran the PW.
The module is there for people who can use it. I cannot provide unlimited advice for people who want to use it. If you can handle it, enjoy! _________________________ Talernon3 - Age of Dragons Link

I am having problems as the people above. I put the Talernon2 file in the override and it played but none of the other original campaigns worked they tried loading the 122 areas, and the saved games would not load. I put the talernon2 file in the modules directory it loaded as a module but took forever to load, the saves would not work. Loading it as a campaign had the same error as claymore one. I think you have to take some of the files and create a separate override folder and take the necessary files and compact them into a module file and it should work. I believe there is a tool for that.
Just to confirm, I downloaded all the necessary haks, ttlks etc (no music) and placed them in correct folder. Have downoaded installed played quite a lot of NWN2 mods.
Did the same for the Talernon2.rar file and placed this in the modules folder. Not sure what you mean by a directory.
However had the same error message as claymoreOne.
Again Dragonsbane (name of a NWN module?) thank you for this and your free time wondering how your download etc has gone.
Just one small problem so far for me. I can start the game, explore, etc.. but saved games will not load. The error message "Could not load module, module file might be corrupt OR it was created using a newer version of the toolset and/or a game resource" was displayed.
Is there a different way to save the game other than the MAIN interface?
I am patched to the latest version available - 1.022(1588)
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
I downloaded all files except for Tal2_2da_hak_v24.rar Which I have been unable to locate. Tried your forums and website.....
The mod needs this file or fails to load, I tried renaming v25 to v24, it loaded and I was able to create a character BUT, when the mod loaded the starter area was just a black screen with my character standing in it.
Any help with this would really make my day, I really want to try this mod.

You should not need the character creator, that was for online. Loading the module and making a new PC will work.
Overrides are a nightmare, yes they might mess things up.
Terrain files go int ehe NWN2 Toolset / Terrain folder (I think, or something similar) and the tlk without extension goes in root Atari / Neverwinter Nights 2 folder.
I am unsure on your first error there. Are you loading a directory? The module is a folder, ie a directory, NOT a module. I think you load it in a normal fashion though, I cannot recall though. I am re-installing NWN2 tonight on my new giant hard drive, I will go through the process to double check. _________________________ Talernon3 - Age of Dragons Link

"Could not load module, module file might be corrupt OR it was created using a newer version of the toolset and/or a game resource"
Could somebody help with this please? This has not happened ever before in NWN2 but then again never downloaded a module of 430+ mb (zipped) before. Have SOZ and most recent updates
Also with Talernon's character creator, it specifies a missing required hak file sure I have downloaded all that was required?
Placed some files in override folder ie ones that are not obvious eg hak, tlk etc? Is there a possibility this could affect other games?
Finally read that you might need to go into toolset. If this is the case how and then what do you do?
Thanks again for your time

I do not know if the TRN files are needed in single player, but I doubt it, since they are used by the toolset.
For the item changer, you need to DL the NWNX4 program, and get the xp_craft plug-in. I am not sure if that is usable in single player, it is for servers for the most part. _________________________ Talernon3 - Age of Dragons Link
