This is my unfinished campaign The Elysium Wood!
I am posting this in the hope that someone can use this for thier own purposes and hopefully some of my content will make it into a mod!
I have several areas that are finished and some that are not. I can't finish this because i am no scripter but alot of love went into making the overland map and all the areas.
As it is now this campaign has no quests or stories. It is just a hack and slash mod with some shops to buy and sell gear and to hire mercenaries at the tavern for some extra help.
All the npc's,mercs and monsters are custom made as well as all the maps.
I did use a few things from the community and credit should be given to them for thier work if it is used!
KNOWN ISSUES:There is a bug with getting a room at the inn when you use the key on the door it doesn't fire the script to send you to the right room!
Hopefully someone will get some use out of the work i put in. Enjoy!

I believe your Elysium Wood could fit my pre-wriiten adventure, but I need to to make some additions. I have not been able to view the file in the editor as yet, how should I go about that?

I need to make some changes to the mod for my adventure. How do you load the mod files in the editor?

You can tell a lot of work went into this campaign and mod. Whether I can adopt it to one of my mods has not been determined as yet. I like to use the SOZ party option, that is the PC awakes in the a room at the inn and creates the other three characters. I also leave a book of leveling up on one of the tables so you can adjust the charcters' levels to suit the module requirments. In addition, I have agood chest which provides some very basic equipment and gold. I need to put the mod into the editor to get a feel for the area and how it would fit with my story. Good effort!
I agree Mokah and if i have time i wll make some areas and post them.
The encounter balance for the mod was meant for at least 4th lvl toons or a multiplayer situation!
I really hate the fact that you can't balance the enounters on the overland map! There is nothing i can do about that though that's an Obsidian thing!
That's one of the reasons i gave up on trying to script this campaign the game has no balance and doesn't take level or party size into account!

Well, the quality of your areas is quite good. I agree that the encounters go from rats to death without notice, but hey, this was never truly finished so I'm not going to fault you for that.
As a starter mod for someone, this is a goldmine, so thanks for sharing.
As far as future prefabs, areas for overland map usage would be awesome, as well and more dungeons and areas that could be used for encounter setups. I'd like to see more desert areas, tropical islands, volcanoes, frozen lakes, etc.
You need to allow open resting for this to be at all playable--the inn keys do nothing. And what levels would you expect for a bit of fun? It goes from easy rats to fierce dung beetles just like that. This could probably be playable as a hack n' slash mod if it had a smooth transition through difficulty of encounters.

You need to email Maximus directly at [email protected] so that he can help you with this issue. He reports to me that he does not see anything in the cue, so there must be something wrong.
Lol darant! If i was any good at scripting which i'm not i wouldn't be posting an incomplete campaign! I don't get why people just don't get that certain people can't script at all? That would be me. It isn't like i didn't try ive been trying since NWN came out!
