Hi Zarconus, a few comments to help improve the map. The texturing needs reworking, what you want to achieve is a blended look using a variety of pressures, with different textures over each other.
Second comment is to add more height variation, as it is currently pretty much flat. When you start adding in height variations you can then use that to "shade" the different parts.
