Here is just a mild example of a swamp, though some features are a little off, water color, and a few of the tree types dont originally belong in a swamp, but the image is better. This is only one area of it, and I am not even sure if it is walkable, seeing as there is no way to test.
Terra Forming is a powerful thing, But so is the new toolset. I am loving it.
While trying to decide on how the water would appear to have depth, and actual substance of being a swamp, I found myself at a loss with the Textures given, and shortly decided on useing the terrain tools to make dark spots, or darker as it is.
Actually making the water level work was eaiser then I thought. Starting the base water at 1. I then used the leveling tool to raise the land to about 3, making the boathouse fit in almost perfectly.
It is best viewed as nighttime, and even sunrise and sunset.
This area took a total of 4 and a half hours to get it the way I wanted, and I still have not added many of the lights or sounds.
