Just for any of you would be ship builders, half the illusion of having a moving boat is manipulating the Ocean Current under Terrain > Water Settings. The trick they did in SoZ was have the current move along a certain axis then make the water bright enough so the player looks like they are moving, With some clever use of scripting / cutscene objects you can really create a voyaging trip on the open seas! _________________________ For Your Area Creation Needs: Fairy Jar Toril Globe Extensive Placeble List

Awsome work & thanks it woks great in my module!!! But instead of placing it in the prefabs folder try placing it in the neverwinter nights2\override folder. After that it should show up in the prefabs area of the toolset at the top of the list! _________________________ Where's Me Ale, you dirty goblin-eating snot?!?
I had a prefab folder ready unlike Snotwort, but the ship isn't showing up in the toolset even though I placed it there. I'd like to hear any suggestions for fixing it too (: _________________________ Link Crystals of The Lost Developement Blog

Hmm...I didn't have a Prefabs folder under NWN2/NWN2Toolset so I created one and placed the file there, but the ship doesn't show up in the toolset. Any suggestions?
suggestions?
- a warship with lots of flags, ballistas and extra railings
- an undead ship with debris all over the place, if possible broken wooden fences etc incorporated AND some skeleton themed placebles (MotB had some I think) worked into the ships body =)
- (and if the masts are seperable you could also do) a very slender elven ship... _________________________ In case you find my grammar/spelling weird sometimes -----> native german speaker ;-)
You're too kind Mokah, but you know that I rarerly do PLACABLES, it's just that I'd like to see more ships - after all I have all the creatures/NPCs to man them ;-) _________________________ In case you find my grammar/spelling weird sometimes -----> native german speaker ;-)
I can't check it out atm since I havent got a copy of SoZ yet (living in a German-speaking country its not that fast to get an english copy) but the effort is appreciated.
Is there a chance you'll do customized ships too? like adding flags, banners, lifeboats, a ballista or *scary* placables for merchant/warship/ghostships?
If not I might be tempted trying it myself once I have SoZ ;-) _________________________ In case you find my grammar/spelling weird sometimes -----> native german speaker ;-)
