The NWN2 Foliage Pack 1 has been consolidated into the NWN2 Foliage Pack 3 along with the NWN2 Foliage Pack 2. The models have been optimized or remade completely, making this version obsolete. The NWN2 Foliage Pack 3 is pending release this month! Thank you to all who downloaded and voted!
When I named the packs, my intention was for it to be my gift to the community, which is how I feel its appropriate. As for others stepping up to do this, noone has contacted me unfortuneately, but I have had plenty requests for content, so maybe someone will eventually like to contribute. As for the roses, I can make those for you if you will send me a pm on the nwn2 forums. Sadly, I'm not sure if we'll see any CEP for NWN2 like we did for NWN1 but time will tell and I will surely be a part of it if that takes place!

Had a look at the Exotics, and I know this will come in very handy in my mod... Though I may wait till integration of custom placeables becomes easier. Thanks for instructions by the way. I'd rather not have to edit 2da's and such though, if I can help it. Anyway, there's lots else I can do in my mod in the meantime :) I`m actually building a greenhouse and garden, and was disappointed by the quantity of plants in the TS. I was until now making "exotic" plants by shrinking some trees way way down. I haven't looked at the rest of the pack or pack 2, so don't know if they are there, but would love to see some rose bushes with different coloured flowers (reds, pinks, whites, yellows, peach) and some wall/trellis climbers (climbing roses, vines). Some empty (tintable if possible) pots (with soil) would be a nice accessory to make it easy to create houseplants from some of the models. A final little comment: It's probably just me, but I find calling this the *Community* Foliage Pack a bit pretentious since it is not (yet?) made up of the best various community members have put on offer, like the CEP is. Any plans to make this a real CFP, when/if the community produces other quality foliage/nature/garden related materials? Thank you very much for making this and sharing it with us. _________________________ E.C.Patterson Gaming Parents Studios Trinity, the NWN2 adventure : Download now.

I was just curious if the custom placeables text file I uploaded was helpful to those of you that requested the info. I know that when I set out to make this pack, I wasn't even going to include any blueprints at all due to the steps involved in creating them. I didn't think it was fair to give 260 models and 55 textures to the community with no way to see what they looked like without making blueprints in the toolset themself. So I went ahead and made all those blueprints and the haks for you all to at least be able to see them in the toolset and pick only what you wanted to use. With that said, this game has a way to go before custom content is fully compatible, but I hope my little donation keeps interest and hopes high. Just remember, at some point we won't have to go thru that process with strref's anymore, and can use a nwn style of custom placeable.

I'm with Murin. Instructions on how to "create your own blueprints using the original files located in the Foilage Source folder" would be welcome. I can't spend the time to figure it out. Thanks. _________________________ E.C.Patterson Gaming Parents Studios Trinity, the NWN2 adventure : Download now.

This looks worth-while and I'll try to comment when I get it working. _________________________ @===============================================@ Vinchenzo made a post here. Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff. This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice: Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh... Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author. Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass. There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol) @===============================================@

shhh..no-one heard that, lol. Ya I realized my typo but just left it to be, was hoping noone noticed. I did most of the work at 2 and 3am and by the time I had it all typed up and uploaded the typo stayed.
