The NWN2 Foliage Pack 2 has been consolidated into the NWN2 Foliage Pack 3 along with the NWN2 Foliage Pack 1. The models have been optimized or remade completely, making this version obsolete. The NWN2 Foliage Pack 3 is pending release this month! Thank you to all who downloaded and voted!
I began work back in August of 07 on a 3rd foliage pack, and am nearing completion. The 3rd pack will contain all the contents of the the first 2 packs which have been optimized and renamed, plus new content. The new content includes some new plant types, trees, vases, planters, cactus variations, winter vegetation, and a module/hak that you can run in game to see all the models in use and be able to easier decide what you do or don't want to use. I will uploading it to the models section of the site, and will be removing this and the 1st pack since they are out of date and it was just too much trouble to try and rename some of the files and textures due to the MDB format limitations. I have experimented with limited animated versions of some of the plants, but its very time consuming and puts alot of work on the end user to get it into the game easily.
May I ask have you thought of adding your materials to the 3C Compilation Haks? I ask because we are using those and would rather like to see your work added. _________________________ Doing it the only way I know how, the Hardway!
my apologies to all my users, I've been without a computer until now. Lightning decided to strike and it was a direct hit on my power line so it blew up my surge protector and jumped onto my computers. Good news is I had most of my work saved onto a portable drive, so not much was lost.
Very soon, 1-2 weeks at most for the release. What I am doing is combining foliage pack one and two into one pack, and making all tintable textures. Its just taking some time doing the textures and tweaking everything to look right when tinted.
Very nice ineed.
We plan to integrate it in our module. But as you said, you would create a new version with tintable models, I think of just waiting for it.
I know, it's done when it's done, but do you have any idea, when you will publish the new version? A few weeks, 2 months, 6 months? _________________________ German NWN1/2 persistent world: Hochwaldallianz
When I created the two foliage packs I wanted to get some custom content to the community as fast as possible since there wasn't much avail yet. Thats why I avoided the tint maps, which were still being discovered at the time, how they worked etc. The next pack will have tint maps, and I also have had TONS of requests for ivy, roses, sunflowers, crepe myrtul (spelling) and a few others, so you'll get them I promise.

Excellent work! A wonderful variety of plants that will come in extremely useful.
My only criticism is that it might be better to make some tintable models, instead of doing all the prefab colours - especially for the rocks. Saves on having soooo many blueprints...
And a request - in your next pack could we please have some roses, ivy and vines?
Keep up the great work!

I downloaded this one, but haven't tried it out just yet. If it's as good as the last one, (Which I think it will be!) I'm giving you a 10 and eagerly awaiting the: Rocks and Stones Edition.
Keep up the great work! It's appreciated! _________________________ Website: Link

YOU DESERVE ANOTHER 10, I don't know who you are but I'm downloading this pack, and by the screeny shot I'm sure it's as good or better than the last.
In fact, it's garuanteed to be good, cause the last was PERFECT!!!

Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.
This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)
