I LOVED the version you had for NWN1, and I'm involved in the creation of a new server for NWN2. I'm hoping to implement your NWN1 system in that server, as it's more complete, but the news that you're doing the system for nwn2 is GREAT! I'll be begging the designers to add this system and upgrading every time you update! Thanks for many months of good memories, and I hope you keep up the good work!

I wanted to swing by and give my support on the project. Loudent said something about you being back and the possibility of an updated release. We look forward to this as we in all likely hood will switch to your system once released. _________________________ Baldur's Gate: The Sword Coast Chronicles
I know its been a long time since I have revisited NWN2.. but I have been keeping tabs on things here and there, waiting for new developments.
With the release of the custom beholder by Johnnyrae (I believe) from BouncyRock entertainment, one of the major holdbacks for my own NWN2 content has been eliminated. (Not the beholder itself, which is an awesome piece of work by itself.. but the ability to have custom creatures to draw a larger playerbase)
With that said, I may again pick up this project and continue work soon. I make no promises at this point, but I am actually beginning to get excited at the prospect of continuing to work with NWn2... which was not the case last year.
Peace

With the European release of MotB, the time is likely drawing near when I will again delve into the world of NWN2.
I am currently in the process of catching up on recent developments within the NWN2 community and changes since patch 1.06... however the needed functionality for this project to continue still has not been added by Obsidian. (Specifically the removal of the 'loot all' button from at least 1 standard container UI option.. I need this to be inherent in the game engine and not an optional UI download which could be modified by an end user.)

I'm a long time fan of Abigail's scripts but new to NWN2. Can ya'll post your info to access your mods that have his craft system in already so i can find a new home ;)
That is great news to know you are going to start working on this again. I was hoping it would get finished. It looks to be a great start, and a great system for PW's. I can't wait to see how it comes along after patch 1.06. If you wouldn't mind posting in the CC forum when you release an update, there are many of us who would love to know when it is ready. _________________________ Quilistan

I know its been a while since I have updated this project, but fear not. It is not an abandoned project. It has been placed on hold pending a few more patches to provided needed scripting functionality. I will likely begin working on t his again shortly after patch 1.06.

Just posted v201a for download. Donno why it's got 2 .rar's at the end.. I downloaded it to check and it only shows 1 .rar in the actual file.
In any event, this update includes lumberjacking, some bugfixes, a few asthetic changes, and more information divulged in the included 'TreeDBNotes' database file for builders.
Enjoy :)

I believe I have it figured out on the tools brreaking after first use.. I think the 'infinite' flag on the vendor you are selling them from may cause local variables to be lost when the item is purchased. (The blueprinted versions have the following variable set to 100... uoacraft_tool_uses_remaining=100.
When used, this variable goes down by 1.. when it reaches 'less than 1' it self-destructs the tool. I will change it to start at '0' and progress to '-100' (negative 100) and see if that fixes it for ya.
Thank you for reporting this issue.
Peace
