29 plants that can be foraged to produce useful items. This system uses both Craft(Alchemy) and Survival checks in differing ratios, depending on the plant and the product.
e.g. Kelp (seaweed) can be gathered into an impromptu tanglefoot bag with sufficient survival skill, and little knowledge of alchemy. Distilling Brown molds to produce an oil that can be smeared on your weapon requires more alcehmical skill
Note: Molds/slimes are trapped to replicate their effects, and simuate the use of disable device in finding ways to avoid being caught out.
Files include placeables for use in your areas, and the items and scripts required for the system
The system is easily adaptable using the variables attached to objects and the base foraging script, and more can easily be added.
See text file for list of plants and their products. Note - some are from FR/D&D lore, but many activities are from European folklore

May I suggest using Plant{CityMHplant03} for aloe vera? It looks much more like an actual aloe vera plant. _________________________ Shadow Thief: Crimmor and Path of Evil blog Link

This is very nice. And easy to customize. Thanks.

Just plants? No, I'll be extending this to whatever I think the player might find useful. That painting over there? High appraise and you recognize it's by a master painter and inherently valueable. _________________________ Shadow Thief: Crimmor and Path of Evil blog Link

I love this system, and it's pretty easy to setup new plants as well. Great job.
What would make this a home run is if the scripting checked the entire party for the needed skills instead of just the main player. Using this on the overland map means the player needs to load their main character with survival AND alchemy, which isn't a natural thing to do. _________________________ Mokah - The Grumpy Strumpet || Dear Strumpet Letters|| Jabberwocky Development Blog|| Vertex I - The State of the Union ||

Another one I didn't see at first. I loved that system in your modules, now I don't have to tear Dark Avenger apart to find out how you did this.
A ground-breaker if I ever seen one. Survival and alchemy finally become useful, especially survival. Nature provides so much, it's about time someone put this to good use.

"GiveXPToCreature(GetFirstPC(), 30);"
This line has an issue in multiplayer environments. It gives the XP to the first PC on the server, not the nearist. We took a while to nail down this bug on Obsidian Shore.

Using this in conjunction with our home build Harvest System that covers collecting items off dead creatures (skins, horns, ect) and ore in mines.
Well recieved by the Obsidian Shore players and staff.
Looks intresting, after I test and there is documentation, I will vote for this, looks like it could be really nice. _________________________ Talernon3 - Age of Dragons Link

Thanks for releasing this Wyrin. I have been patiently waiting ever since playing Dark Avenger. However, you have now given me yet another excuse to put off writing conversations as I place these plant in my completed areas.
