Description

This handy-dandy script can be put into areas full of little arcane treasures.

just plop it into the area's heartbeat script, and characters will have to make a spellcraft check (DC 20), or there is a 75% chance that they have 3 points of magical damage done to them, have a negative level put on them for 20 seconds,
be dazed for 3 seconds, and for the next 6 seconds, be unable to cast a spell.

This is not to be used in PvP modules. If it seems like this script is being used in a PvP arena module, please drop me a line at "[email protected]"

include:

The module name, the server name, what the script did, and the state in which you live
(in case the server is only playable by those in a certain state or area of the US)

Also, I have yet to test this script, so it would be appriciated if one of the users could tell me if it works.

it compiled correctly, but I don't know if it will work as intended.

This is intended to make entrance to the area a bit more interesting for spellcasters and melee classes.

and just to add to the above post- It did save me time... but altering it cost me about a half hour before a proper compile occured, since I knew nothing of the scripting systems.

such wasted potential. Well, I forgot to mention a biggie.

I made a script with lilacsoul, and altered a few things because the program did not support area damage. I thought that it'd save a few people time.
