Is a stupid script that permit to change the class of your npc in the game.
For example i prefear shandra to be a barbarian and neeshka to be a ranger.
Is the same script that change kelgar from "fighter to XXXX"
Basic Instructions ...
These are acquired by using just charmgr().
Every instance of charmgr() must be prefixed with rs whilst in debugmode, for example:
This will cite the three main utilities this function provides; to be able to reset a character to any level, to be able to change companions class and to be able to alter alignment in any way the player desires.
Changing Class ...
Only companions can do this, here's the complete list ...
very nice script but it doesnt work here. ill do everything to have such a thing working since being a total newb to DD rules i totaly messed my char and companions :p
i get an unsuccesfull execution message for every char and attemp. its not a patch issue since i can run other user made scripts trough console. my game ver is 1.04 870. i tried setting the scripts into the 2 override dirs doesnt change anything
Is there any possible way to fix the companions so that death is final. It sort of takes a lot of fun out of the game when the same companion dies in every battle. DN

I'll do my best to help you but it honestly depends ...
The simple answer?
Go to My Documents (via My Computer), the into Neverwinter Nights, then into override. The files should be put there. In game type the following ...
DebugMode 1
charmgr()
That should get you started. If it says that the command executed unsuccessfully, then you have a bad patch. The thing is, the console was broken in one of the 1.03 patches and I don't know whether it's fixed or not yet. If it isn't, you'll have to wait for a later patch when it is. This affects all scripts that are run from the console and I genuinely apologise for that.

love the class changer thing but uh...where exactly do i paste the files to...im kinda lost?
Okay! For those who want it (bladi, you can update to this version too if you like) ...
I've overhauled the script a bit so it's become a bit of a character manager.
Now the companion class doesn't change alignment it just warns you if the alignment is wrong for the class you're changing to.
This is because the script can now handle allowing the player to change the alignment to anything they want in a painless way. Full help on this is included within a HTML file in the zip and in in-game (simply use charmgr() for overall help and charmgr(1), charmgr(2) and charmgr(3) for help on the three utilities, respectively).
The script also has a utility for handling levels, it can do the usual char class and reset to level 1 stuff and it can reset an existing build (even multiclass) to level 1 but it can even alter levels.
For example, let's say that you're level 15 with a bit of experience left over. If you tell it to take you to level 5, it'll take you down to level 5 and give you the experience back so you can level up to 15 again and you'll still have your bit left over. Further, if you want to go up levels, you can be given exactly the amount of experience you need to get there. If you're at level 15 and you state that you want level 20 you'll be given the exact amount of extra experience to reach level 20 and so on.
As I've said in the help file, if there are any suggestions, questions, ideas, bug reports and so on ... let me know.
The only part about it that I'm not sure about really is the Druid alignment check. Bloody Druids and their bloody strange alignment requirements. Oh, possibly Warlocks too but I think we're good on the Warlock front ... Druid too actually just not 100 per cent on that.
So there may be bugs with the alignment detection system but they should be the only ones. I've been playing with this myself and testing it out, it seems good but my competence is horrible so it's probably not, use at your own risk.
Anyway, I hope this is the kind of thing people are looking for and that they enjoy it and none of this would've been possible without bladi and his original script.
Glad to be of service, really. I love sharing any finds and all it took was a little poking around, the main work was yours, it's just that with a little modification it can serve such a helpful dual purpose.
And it really is helpful when one realises one has completely screwed up a build, be it player primary or roster PC. >.>
When I have the time, I'll also write up a bit of a readme on how to take advantage of the alignment shifts in order to get certain quick effects and how to use the console alignment commands to fine tune their results. It may be a bit since my time is being eaten with RL festivities and all but when I can find a few minutes, I'll sit down and write something like that up.
Really though, just glad to be of service but regardless of what I've done, most the work is bladi's. Let there be no doubt about that.

It may not be original, as in it is an idea from the game, but you thought of it and I used it to great effect, so well done :) _________________________ Mea Culpa's Demesne

Mind you, I'm not saying that the methods of deleveling are buggy, I've just seen a great many people whine about it on the Vault and I try to provide constructive solutions, when I can. That's why I did that and I figured that this would be the most apt script to merge that idea into.
