Meh! Feel like hanging my head in shame - but I thought I would just post that I do not think I will be continuing to work on this. Truth be told it was more for the educational purposes that I originally wrote it - I got some other ideas that I am working on once again - if I manage to finish them - you should see another post somewhere here from me.
Incredible: Thanx very much for your enthusiasm, it is much appreciated, I am sorry that I am abandoning this, I have just lost a lot of interest in it - the persistent banking system would be great, but upon looking into it - I felt it would just be to big of a performance hit for most PWs to consider, nice idea though. I would be willing to do some minor updates on it, but the original plans for expanding it really are not the most brilliant that I have ever had - again - apologies if this kind of vapourized.
K - well later today I will be getting the expansion - if you check the date of this post you will see that I am a little late to get it - but I been really caught bad with that RL stuff again - I'll be back on the case by the day after new years, but till then will be mucking around in the toolset seeing what new things come with the expansion.
TBH: I'd rather get crysis, but I got the feeling this will possibly be more rewarding in the long run....
ALSO: I am thinking of expanding this mod, or atleast making some parallel mods to compliment it along the idea of a NWNX4 enhanced Mailing System, and a Bank. I am hoping to make the bank with a few server options, such as the potential for a guild bank, a charity bin(which will require DM moderation) and a PlayerKey Identified Bank that allows for trade of items between alternate characters on the same server, all of which can be controlled through variables set in a script.
Anymore ideas on improving this would be great, I have been going through the V1.11 changes in the toolset, I'd imagine the above is no longer working :(

If someone wants to make a system like this without the bench it would be very appreciated. Just needing the blank note, quill and inc.

Other than for bug fixes (if you find any), I am leaving this project for a while - I got excesivly annoyed with playing with the GUI today, which has occupied more then 3/4 of the total man-hours put into this project.

Cool, I hope you can find the needed 'hooks' to make those things happen and looking forward to using this.
BTW: feel free to come over to ModCraft and join us if you wish, I (Shealladh) run the artists side of things and am setting up a way for modelers to get CC into nwn2. We could put you into contact with some people to help out or at worst a nice place we can chat and further discuss the future of this script in a PW sense. There is also an Italian (Restless) making a SP game that might find this handy for his mod and possibly the DEN who's making the PW. _________________________ I see repented people
I'll prolly spend tomorow actually tidying up the scripts which could be a lot neater, my apologies for V1.0 I am suprised it even worked when I tested it - so many things wrong with it!
tbh I am pretty new to the modding scene here at NWN, I used to crawl around in the backdrops of NWN1, but never really contributed anything, I have been buisy with modding other games, such as CIV IV, but I would really like to get into NWN2.
Wanted posters, hmm , I will have to look into this, atm I am looking into the possibility of using portraits for the mailing system I am working on, if I manage to figure out how the GUI stuff works, I don't think it is out of the question to have a portrait included in the note - but this will require research on GUIs which I was hoping would be easier then they are currently appearing to be to me :(
I will see that Version 3.0 will have GUI for both notes and books, and once I have that figured I will strive for V4.0 to portraits (since I think it is a really nifty idea :) ).

Not sure how the new portraits work, otherwise I'd ask if it was possible to include a PC or NPC portrait in which the note refers to the tag or character's username.... _________________________ I see repented people
