Now this is a little build I had fun making while I was still waiting for the game. Now, he's not really a pvp-build, and there are probably a lot of booring caster-shielders who would fare better than him. But who cares? This build is incredebly fun to play! At lvl 20 he does 200+ damage-crits regularily almost every round, even without magic items, and with superior cleave he's like a living, breathing area-attack! I'd play him just for the people screaming "OMG HAX" when they see the ridiculously high damage floating over their heads. Ahhh... Wonderful. So here it is, enjoy :D
Non-lawful Human Str 18 +5 Dex 13 Con 14 Int 13 Wis 8 Cha 8
Now the feats that really make this character is the increased multiplier/range of the weaponmaster, which when using a keen weapon (yes, it stacks) gives the scythe a critical of 17-20 x5 (!). Another one is the enhanced power attack on lvl 18, which will give the weapon an impressive +20 to damage (Which is crittable :D) for just -6 to attack (Though this penalty gets serious in pvp). Supreme cleave is also fun, which gives you two free attacks at your full attack bonus when you kill a foe. When fighting low-level mobs this shows as a cloud of "Critical hit", "Great Cleave *hit*" and "250" obscuring your view, as well as a choir of screams. Nothing beats that sight...
As for skills... I don't really care too much about them. But use magic device is alway handy for those boots of sun-soul and stuff. Craft (weapon) is a must for any server with a good crafting system (Though I have yet to see one). If you still have free skill points, you can never go wrong with spellcraft and tumble.
Weaknesses include (very) high AC-opponents, low will saves in servers without immunity: mind spells, and opponents with crit-immunity (Though he is by no means hopeless against these, having a very high base-damage too). The fact that he gets true ultimate power in the late levels will probably discourage many. But I do think it is worth the wait :)
So that's my grim reaper! Hope you'll have as much fun with him (or her) as I did. Please ask me if you don't understand why I didn't choose a certain feat/race or whatever, and I'll do my best to answer.

It's not a bad build for the OC, but the claims are rubbish.
Str and WS are crittable, but that totals only around a quarter of the claimed 200. Any other damage would be open to everyone, but I don't think 150 damage weapons are very common.
Also this only gets 4 attacks a round, and Scythe only has a 15% chance of a critical threat - which it then has to confirm. In order to get crits every round it would have to be fighting lots of very weak opponents so that it could get loads of Cleave attacks.
Clearly also the OP hadn't played NWN2 when this was posted, because Scythe has always been Martial in NWN2. This is probably a ported build from NWN1 (and WM was better in NWN1).

Hmmmm.
Firstly, it won't be a Grim reapper then.
Secondly, Falchion won't kill Dragons/Balor's with one strike (excludin Vorpal ones).
Also, i can't see what is the talk of critical immunity (they have a same base damage after all)
Early in the game you are just as likely to fumble with a scathe as you are to score a critical hit (5% chance for both). Why not remove your early game handicap and triple your chances over fumbling by using a falchion? Although half the multiplier, its essentially the same. Besides, most enemies will not have 300+ hit points, and those that do will be immune to critical hits anyway.

This build is even better in motB.
You will be able to score up to 350 pts. and over in damage with critical.
And you will get those power skythes (myrkuls wairth, akachis skythe) there too.
Minor adjust (for built):
take power attack insted of exotic profiency (since you dont need it fof skythe).
then take cleave insted of power attack.
then improved critical insted of cleave.
now you will get the improved critical.
At epic levels continue with fighter
(or take frenzy levers to gain greater frenzy/supreme power attack):
Make sure that you get feats:
epic overhelmin critical, and epic weapon specialisation.
Yeah i've seen a better crit build. It's called the warlord. It's 20 fighter/ 19 blackgaurd/ 1 ranger.
Feats in order: Blind fight, skill focus:parry, great fortitude, WF:scimmy, SF:discipline, power attack, cleave, toughness, great cleave, knockdown, improved knockdown, improved crit:scimmy, disarm, divine shield, divine might, ESF:discipline, weapon specialization:scimmy, ESF:Parry, EWF: scimmy, improved disarm, ESF:concentration, EW specialization:scimmy, great str 1, great str 2, overwhelming crit:scimmy, great str 3, devastating crit:scimmy, great str 4, srmor skin, and epic prowess.
this build dev crits on a roll of 12-20 and has a high DC save so it devs often. It's fast with great cleave and has an AC in the 70s self buffed. AB is 60s.
This build is great for pvp and anything else.
Skills:
Concentration:43
Discipline:40
Hide:5 (right away)
Parry:40
Taunt:42
Tumble:40
Heal: remaining points.
Rage isn't worth losing power critical. I've done the math. And the build has too little dexterity to really benefit from Uncanny dodge. _________________________ I'd give my left arm to be ambidextous!

Which frees up a feat, and by that I mean you can drop 4 fighter levels for 4 of Barbarian, losing out on EWP and Power Critical in exchange for Rage 2/day and Uncanny Dodge. Or just 2 Fighter levels for Rage 1/day.
I give it a 7.5. Not the best crit build I've seen, but very good. _________________________ Eldritch Knight
I'd wish it was so. But unlike real pnp D&D the scythe is an exotic weapon in both NWN and NWN 2. If they ever change this, though, use the free feat for weapon focus (scythe) _________________________ I'd give my left arm to be ambidextous!
Isn't the Scythe in NWN2 considered a Martial rather that an Exotic weapon? If you are specializing in wielding a scythe, why do you need the Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat? _________________________ The signature is on vacation. I wish I could join it.
