It`s combined 2DA-Editor and TLK-editor with many extra features. All original 2DA and dialog.tlk are imported in an internal database at first start - for quick access.
While editing your 2DA TabularFramework always displays the corresponding TLK Entry as readable text in the status bar - from both dialog.tlk and your custom.tlk! If tlks are loaded the entry is shown there, too.
You can easily import an original 2DA and save as it as own 2DA and immediately edit it. To give you a better overview you can fix several columns (always displayed left side) and/or hide columns you don`t nead at the moment. The program saves this option per each filename, so it`s works with original and your own 2DA!
Copy and Paste rows between different files. Delete (fill with ****) complete rows....
Compare 2DA and TLK files, find real differences (equal rows are shown once!).
HTML Report in your browser, make files easys printable.
LOOK at the screenshots, watch the video, read the docu and EDIT !!!

I tried to use this tool, but after installing it, when it comes to the "Select game" window, it won't let me choose NWN2 or NWN2-MotB, only Jade-Empire.
I use this computer to work with 2da and tlk files, but it does not have NWN2 installed.
This tool should not require that. I have the original 2da.zip, 2da_x1.zip and dialog.tlk files, and my custom aldor.tlk and all my custom 2da files. It should let me work with that.
It's a pity, because it looked good in the pictures. _________________________ Reino de Aldor
I am getting error 440 when ever i try to open a 2DA file. it doesn't matter if its one that is own or ori. i am using Vista 32, i have it installed as reccomended.
Could you give us more detailed info about your trouble with TabularFramework. So far we can`t reproduce your problems. May be we can help! _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)

I'm sure this is really good. But it keeps freezing up before I can even edit anything. Is there something w Holy Crap it just started randomly working as I was typing. lol thats funny. okay i'll change my rating now. Crap it froze again, it was almost done. The loading thing is done it just stopped. Ill just wait... Does it freeze up on every computer or just Vistas? Just wondering.ITS WORKING YAY!!!
I'm trying to run this on 'Vista Business.'
When loading, it gets to "working on special chars 2/2" and then freezes. I tried installing it to C:\ as suggested, and also to my 'Documents' folder in case there was a permission issue.
Hope this month it will come, togehter with some minor improvement! _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)

TFW could only one custom.tlk at time, because of displaying the corresponding entries in your 2da files. When you more custom.tlk which of them should give the corresponding entry? Maybe solved later!??
Only first load should be slow, cause of creating your database!
Give us example 2da files per mail! And as always, please mail errors, we`re no real mages ;-))
Scrolling is a mouse driver problem. Sorry
Alurihl _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)

Alurihl, it can't load 2 custom TLKs and it's compare feature isn't too helpful (you only see different rows, but not tables). Moreover, sometimes it doesn't find different rows.
It loads very slowly and often hangs up, scrolls incorrectly, and when you try to copy rows it resizes them instead.
For 2da editing one can use Excimer 2da (accurate file comparison) or NWN Custom Content Editor (works with both 2da's and tlk's).
Your tool is nice, but it cant edit 2da files or show related tlk entries. This is the main point of tfw. Therefor tfw muss put all related files in a big database (Only first start is slow)
Which function did you miss in tfw?
With kind regards

At the moment there are no such plans. I think tfw is to complex to be reworked as plugin... _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)

The exe file is meant to all who already downloaded an older version of the tool. All others should download "TabularFramework0979.zip" and install the program! _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)

"Only the exe file. You must install v0.9.78 first, then overwrite the exe file!"
Ok, where do I get the v0.9.78 files? I saw them listed in the NWN1 side but the download link just brought me here. Perhaps I'm simply quite blind. Please help as this program looks to be just what I need. :)

Excellentes Werkzeug für den fortgeschrittenen Modulbauer.Das gilt auch für die Dokumentation und Installation(trotz kleiner Mängel).
Empfehlenswert!
TheSaint found the problem with the placeables files. The Obsidian should make their files more accurate in the future. This file contains about 48 Tabs after the header line.
Many trashy files makes it unneccessary hard to keep our tool working....
Update should come soon! With support to the addon, too. _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)

Couldn`t you import placeables.2da from an unzip 2da_x1.2da ?? (Open2DA then hit folder icon!)
We don`t have the addon at the moment, so we can`t do a quick solution. _________________________ TabularFramework(NWN1 and NWN2)
