This utility will export all hair models from a module, then convert them into working helm models.
To use, edit the HairToHelm.ini file to have your module name, your NWN2 install directory, your NWN2 home directory, and the folder you want to output the helm models to.
All new models will use the new "hair" armor visual type. Because of this, you need to add a new row to the bottom of armorvisualdata.2da:
Hair_Styles Hair HAIR ****
If you use my XP Craft - Lister program, these models can then be used/tailored via XP Craft. Just package them into a hak, attach it to the module, then run that program. You will also need to modify the XP Craft dialog to add new options. If you need help with this, feel free to get my contact data from my profile, or head over to the NWNX forums XP Craft topic to ask your question.

Adinos, for the basis of the MDB modifier used.
Skywing, for his amazing Datafile Accessor Library, and for usually being around to confirm details with.
Possibly, the idea comes from a good deal of the nwn1 servers I've played on, where the cloak was also a utility for other things, such as wings.
If it can be cracked, I think the cloak slot could open up a lot of customizations that seem lacking on that tab, maybe even consider to add belts so players have access to those ingame too. Just a penny for a thought :) _________________________ Deyr einn, spirar einn.
I'll take a look at the difference between helm and cloak slot models, and how they attach to characters. I might need to do some MDB transformation to reposition if so... not entirely sure how that part of the file is set up.
Wonderful concept ^^;; Might I also suggest perhaps to add a feature/tool to create all existing helm models to cloak slot too?
This may allow some folks to mix and match the various sorts of headgear, like mayhaps a swashbuckler hat w/ eyepatch, or something like a tophat and eyeglasses.

@Banshe:
Yup, this will allow players to switch hair styles around in-game. I'll be releasing an update to XP Character (for NWNX) shortly that will also allow players to commit their choice in hair style to their character file as well.
I've had the external site up for several years, and don't see it going away at any point. Just the same, I think you're right, and will be transferring over the files. Just not as easy to do as it is with FTP to my own server.

Looks cool. I guess that means that players can switch hairstyles (and by extension, change disguises) in game.
Can you put this on the vault rather than an external site? Some day, a few years from now, someone will discover this on the vault and you and your files will be long gone. :)
