Great work as always - a real boon to using the toolset.
Many thanks for your time & effort in putting this together!

Wow - I just checked out this latest Edition! It is really fine tuned since the first release! Excellent reference for almost any tool set feature - in depth and well described - a novice would not be a novice for long when using this as a stepping stone. _________________________ |Morbane|
Thank you for all the comments. At the moment I'm working on a year-long NWN2 project so I'm reluctant to update the install with SoZ. Once the project is complete and posted, I'm looking forward to updating the notes with the new SoZ material. I'm also adding new tips as I find them, and trying to polish up some of the writing.

Great compilation. Made mention of this in the video tutorial series I'm working on, so I hope that's alright.
Thanks for all of your hard work!

Absolutely indespensible - I've been building for a couple of years now & this guide includes so much useful reference stuff that I've found that I've needed. Really good work. _________________________ "Cor- a Beholder, Just think of the XP!"; Dave the Barbarian in the Demonweb pits, long ago.

This guide is getting better all the time. Great work. With lights, is it worth mentioning the bug where they lose their tag after a saved game is loaded? This is a significant bug and has workarounds.

Been a toolset user for a long while and just came across this. Thanks for the effort to put it together.

It is great you are keeping this up!!! Awesome. _________________________ |Morbane|
The fifth edition contains additions for crafting items, recipe books, the World Map Editor, special items, special abilities and deities. There is also more information on lights, sounds, creature scripts, selected script commands, the debugging console, and area appearance. This version adds a third volume containing some sample scripts that you may find useful. Finally, it contains a few corrections. Thank you for your support.
Thanks. I do have MotB and I have included the items that were available in the toolset with that release. There is also details on functionality that was added in with the later patches.

Wow! This is great! Too bad it doesn't include MOTB and SOZ scripts and items. But great none-the-less. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

In a word: excellent. Thank you very much for taking the time to put this together. _________________________ AP Magical Miscellanea Package (v1.5, over 750 items): Link

Absolutely awesome - I've only read the magic items lists so far - exactly what I've been looking for in several years of building & as far as I know, not replicated anywhere else - afaik - and worth a '9' on its own for how much it helps create sensibly stocked stores!
If the rest of the guide - all several hundred pages of it - is as good, I'll be one very happy puppy.
Well done! _________________________ "Cor- a Beholder, Just think of the XP!"; Dave the Barbarian in the Demonweb pits, long ago.

I was wondering if this contained MotB and SoZ information on the added features of those expansions. For the builder, both of those expansions have added quite a lot of new options that are not well documented.

This is more than just notes. This is as close to a real-end user manual as you can get. Well written, great layout, and comprehensive. Thanks for taking the time to make this.
Updated to 4th edition. Many small copy edits for clarity. Additions for allowing limited rest, viewing animations, scaling doors, making a concealed passage, adding gold pieces to containers and combining effects for realistic light sources. Additional remarks on stores.
