This is a tutorial for Importing NWN1 creatures into NWN2.
I would thanks jonnyhr for is help and Laban for translating the tutorial.
According to the models you will almost certainly need to redo a texture and eventually refine the model.
This part is not covered in this tutorial.
Hope you enjoy it.
EDIT : There is a missing part in this tuto. We must remap the anim on the dummy root to the root of the new skeleton. I will update this soon.

J'aimerais remercier jonnyhr pour son aide est Laban pour la traduction.
Selon les modèles, vous serez très certainement amené à refaire les textures et éventuellement améliorer le modèle d origine. Cette partie n'est pas couverte dans ce tutoriel.

Well you know you don't have to convert all those.
I hope these get converted though:
Wight
Golems: Adamantine / Demonflesh / Mithral
Troglodyte
Sahuagin
Yuan-Ti
Minotaur
Medusa
Vrock
Marilith
Salamander
Abishi
Mycoid
Gem Golems

The instructions on how to do this are nice, but they are written for someone with 3DSMAX knowledge. Is it possible to create instructions, or modify the current turorial for those of us who do not understand exactly how to use the program. For example I made it to section 4 in the tutorial with a little difficulty, but when it tells you to look at the skeleton root, how? what keystrokes?
I was able to get the properties window open like the right hand picture, but only by accident after clicking on the surrounding structure of the rustmonster.
Instead of saying do this or do that. Can someone please mod the tutorial to explain "how to" do this or do that. Or add in pictures depicting it.
I really want to work on getting some models in and have the necessary programs to do so, just not the know how.
I'm going to give it a 8 for now, pending an update to be dummy proof. For us dummies.

Awesome read, can't wait to get to work and bring over some of my favs from NWN1. Little minor tweaking here and there with the translation but a superb job all around! Well deserving of a 10.
