This module uses the same artwork as my Readable Books (LB), which can also be found at the Vault: Link
MODULE DETAILS:
Captured Spell Books allows a builder to add spell books to their modules that can be found and copied by PC's.
A number of global parameters can be set to ensure a good selection of books with varying spells of different levels can be made. Alternatively, a default book setting serves well.
The demo module also includes a DM Tool to allow a DM to alter spell book parameters and create random spell books on the fly.
Captured Spell Books Comments On The Althéa Blog: Link
- The demo module "LBSpellBooks".
- The UIs required. (Three XML Files.)
- The Hak required. (Uses the same ReadBook.hak as my Readable Books.)
- Fifteen page PDF document telling you how to create your own spell books & use the DM Tool (if required).
Re Your Recall Stone ... You may simply need to copy and paste the code that activates the Recall Stone into the same script that activates the books.
All the best.

yeah got everything worked out, but for some reason, somewhere along the line my recall_stone wont work now
but other than that i all of the books to work and they work extremely well
Good to hear you got it sorted (I only just saw your two posts). The manual does show the important sections of the script you needed to cut and paste into your modules (and amalgamate). However, if it was not clear (or you still have problems),let me know (by email would be quicker, which is in either manual at the end) and I will answer as soon as possible for you. :)
I wil be interested to see your module when its done. :)

hi lance thanks for repling fast to my comment, im still having trouble tring to get them to work together, i was wondering if you could post a module with both of them together, might make my headaches go away :)
And yes, it is possible to have Captured Spell Books (LB) and Readable Books (LB) run in the same module. I have them both running in the module I am building. :) They use the same HAK and so you only need work with one. If you have any difficulties getting th etwo to work together, then let me know. It should be straightforward though. :)

is it possible for both Captured spell books and readbooks modules to be installed under same modules? btw it looks very good
That was the main reason I wanted the spell books as well. :) I prefer the idea of having a spell book find rather than a stash of scrolls. :) The options also allow some varied playing styles subject to the builders selection.

Excellent as someone who plays a wizard very rarely does anything drop from enemies that I would use because no-one puts extra spell slots in things and instead gives them attribute bonuses (only good for int) or +1 enhancements. This would make good wizard loot.
My Readable Books has a book that comes with it that does list the PCs remaining normal "memorised" spells. (i.e. no metamagic spells), but the engine code limts anything else.
These spell books are designied for builders to place in their worlds to allow PCs to find and recover the spells from them. :)
