This is a HakPak with a demo module showing off a placeable I created that will block the entire area it covers from being viewed by the players minimap and the players area map.
Either I'm reading too much into your comment or it just sounds like you don't see a reason for this being in the spotlight. Regardless of a module-builders prestige (Hall of Fame member, Golden Dragon, etc.) anyone and everyone who asks politely (like myself) can be featured on the front page. Your workaround may work, it may not. But - I've uploaded something that I myself stumbled upon and made - in my own spare time - for others.
To go and ask, "What's the big deal with this?" is like asking me, "Why did you waste our time when we can just..." Well, I didn't know that workaround existed, maybe others don't, but for what it's worth - I made something, I posted it, and I asked for it to be spotlighted for others to use because I know it's a feature that many people have wanted for quite some time. =] The big deal is - someone submitted something he/she thought may be of use to other designers/builders. If that is (judging from your tone) not a big deal for you, then I'm sorry to have lowered the bar that you (and others) apparently worked very hard to set too high. ;)
what's the big deal with this? when i use the black block in the toolset, set walkable to true, scale it all over the whole area and put its z-position to a pretty high value i get the same effect without any haks... _________________________ A Bet, A Corpse A Corpse, A Vote
I only blocked out the area name and such for the picture because it's a screenshot from my official campaign. Can't show off the custom feats, can't show the area name, etc. =]
I have a question about this now that I look more closely upon the image: Do you actually block/"censor" :-) the area name as well? If so, can this be "unblocked"?
If I am unclear, I'm referring to the fact that there is a white dash where I would expect to see the area map name. _________________________ best regards,
