Description

Compatibility: NWN2, MotB, SoZ v1.21

This UI mod provides a number of larger-sized minimaps: 120%, 150% and 200%. Each minimap comes in a version with standard sized markers (e.g. map pins) and a version where the markers are also scaled by 120%, 150% or 200%.

You can try out the different minimap sizes and choose the one you want. I recommend the 150% scale normal-sized markers minimap for play at 1280x1024.

In the normal NWN2 UI you can double click on the minimap top bar to double its size. This behaviour is retained in this mod - if you double click on the top bar the minimap will be doubled from its original (larger) size.

I've also included the perl script used to generate the different files. If you know how to use perl you can use the script to generate a minimap of whatever size you like. See the readme for further details.

If you would like a different size than the ones I've provided (bigger or smaller) leave a note below and I'll see what I can do.

Hi fire&ice,

After seeing your links in a post you made to my module, I wanted to check out your NWN2 minimap code. This is just what I needed! And the beauty of being able to double-click the bar to double its size is a dream. :)

It makes one wonder why something like this was never put into the game in the first place. I have tried downloading and using another UI that tried something similar to this a while ago, but it was not as good as this one. Good job!

Since I downloaded the first UI Modification I waited for one that edit the Mini(Tiny)map.
It is so annoying to play on a LCD with the default Minimap that
I already started to look at the files my self.

But now you saved work for me.
