Modified all video effects files to get better performance.
Removed most of the dynamic lights and distortions from spells and effects (torch, low-light vision, dark vision, light spell still works), no longer equipping items with "light" enchantment would eat your fps and during battles with spells flying around your performance will be Much better.
No skin effects on spells like barkskin, stoneskin, etc.
Removed many layers from effects for better fps and not losing anything visually important.
Installation:
Copy NWN2_VFX.zip, NWN2_VFX_X1.zip and NWN2_VFX_X2.zip from archive to your main "Neverwinter Nights 2\Data" folder (make backup, it will replace those)
That way it won't conflict with any mods and modules.
No Issues. Recommended
Alternative installation:
Unpack all files and folders from each NWN2_VFX.zip, NWN2_VFX_X1.zip and NWN2_VFX_X2.zip files to your "my documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\override"
May conflict with other files in your override folder and/or user made modules. Not recommended.
Update:
fixed a bug that caused terrain to be cut sometimes.
