The rar includes:
- Voicesets (5 for male zombies, 1 for females, 1 for Cerberus and 1 for Nemesis).
- A re_dialog.tlk that only includes the refs for the voicesets.
- 12 male zombies, 6 females with alternate animations (well, all attacks are "bites", more like RE games), 1 Cerberus, 1 Tyrant (T-002) and Nemesis.
- Some portraits and zombie footsteps and bite sounds.
Non CEP/D20MM compatable, sorry ^_^u See Readme for credits and any comments are welcome.

Whoa! Not cool dash. Just put the RE creatures hack on top. It will break some other creature appearances, but that's the easiest way to do it. If you don't want to lose the creature appearances that get overwritten you'll need to edit the 2da files, but you'll really only need to add a few entries.
Calling a great hak like this worthless just because you can't figure out how to use it, and scoring it down to 1, that's just not OK. _________________________ If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut.

Sounds like someone needs to learn some basic hak and 2da editing (and manners). It's not so hard. Most of the stuff on the Vault is not automatically compatible with everything else. To call someone who shared the efforts of their creativity and modeling skill an idiot due to one's own ignorance is, well, idiotic.

Dash4031, instead of calling people idiots you should tell us exactly what your issue is. Maybe someone will be able to help you out. Giving a rating of 1 because it's "incompatible" is unfair. Not to mention, many others have gotten this to work with d20 (including myself).

This creature pack is rendered completely useless when it is NOT compatible with D20MM!
Who releases a modern creature pack that isn't compatible with a modern setting? This idiot apparently does. WORTHLESS.

For great justice for the D20mm. Feel my voting power. Because these are the best looking modern zombies I've seen. _________________________ Life is but a Dream.
You only need re_creatures_v2.
To select the sound option in the toolset, you need to edit sounset.2da file included; in STRREF columm, put a number starting at 16777216 + number of the custom tlk entry (the CEP one in this case), i.e. if you put the number 16777217, this mean that in the entry #1 custom tlks you must write the name of the sound that will appear on the toolset creature´s sounset option, like RE_Zombie1 or Cerberus, so you will need a tlk editor too.
If someone can explain it better than me, post here please (even in my own language i´m bad explaining things >_

This is great quality stuff, but it definitely needs some better documentation. Do you need the first Resident Evil Creatures hak? Do you need re_creatures as well as re_creaturesv2? Also, maybe I'm just a dummy (okay not maybe, definitely) but I have no idea how to get the voices to show up properly, and am unsure as to what good the TLK file is then. Some good documentation would help this be a bit more friendly and useable. Great work otherwise, love the animations.
Well, more than a module, it is a total conversion but is in stand by mode for now.

I love D20 Modern, its better than CEP 2 imo. I do have to ask, will you be making a module anytime? _________________________ Back in action, been out of the community for a while.
Glad to see you like the zombies and about the tileset, it is the Chandigar´s UDP Suburbia, a must have modern goodie ^_^

Whoops, forgot to vote! 9.75/10, textures could use some touchups, but they look great in action. _________________________ Back in action, been out of the community for a while.

Hi, I recently saw the zombies in a mod and was jumping off my chair I was so excited, I'm a pretty calm guy, and that has never happened to me before. I also wanted to know the tileset in the pictures. _________________________ Back in action, been out of the community for a while.
Mmm... about the pc death script, looks ok if you dead in front/runing out of the zombie, but weird if the corpse is in other direction; any help here would be greatly apreciated :D

CEP 2.1 just came out yesterday, and looking over the appearance 2da, I see Bioware used the row #s you were using for some of the new invisible "scaling" creatures. Been checking out the d20 content, so I'll probably just wait for your update, anyway. Think I may end up using d20 without the class haks. Great stuff in there. Even joined over at the d20 forums, maybe you'll see me there. _________________________ Silent Hill-ish Hak | Skybox Experiments | Creature/NPC Reskins Vol 1 | Works In Progress
Feel free to make it CEP compatable ;) I will make a CEP/d20mm version.
About the Liker, my first attempt was the Devourer, but with bad results; anyway, I think I have enough critters for now :D
I will test the soundset you mention. Thanks for the feedback ^_^

One more reason to anxiously await the 1.69 final! Go for CEP compatability, while you're at it. If not, maybe I'll clean up and upload a version of my top hak and .tlk to go with this, after the patch.

Really? I don't know what you did to make these, but I thought they looked and animated quite well. Love the zombie animations (had to set to slow movement rate so their arms stayed up). I know some of these must use existing "supermodels" for animations, if I understand right. I imagine the Licker's tongue would be a real pain to do. Maybe skip the tongue and model it on a Devourer? Anyway, looking forward to future updates. Hope 1.69 comes soon. :)
PS: Almost forgot. I haven't isolated it yet, believe it's in the Zombie Male 4 soundset, but I'm getting occasional sound glitches, like a screech, when testing combat with the new zombies. Switched the offending zombie to a different set and it went away. Going to try redownloading, maybe something got corrupted. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else had this happen. _________________________ Silent Hill-ish Hak | Skybox Experiments | Creature/NPC Reskins Vol 1 | Works In Progress
@Izk The Mad
Glad to see you like this stuff :)
I made a Hunter, and some zombies with fire (like RE3) and others with severed arms and othe, for a total of 20 males and 10 females.
I can include the footstep sound for the Cerverus, but can´t make the Licker (I´m not very good modeller, and worst animator, sorry ^_^u ).
I´m working and learning about new things (tilesets/scripting) and waiting for the v1.69.
Byes! ^_^

After finally implementing this in my module, after hours of editing 2das and building my own custom tlk just to make this play nice with CEP2, I find I voted prematurely. I give it an 11. (drools) More of this, please?
Would love to see Hunters and/or Lickers, but if I had just one request, it would be the footstep sounds for the Cerberus! That particular sound they made, you could hear them before you could see them.
If you do make anything more like these, I would love to see stuff that's not limited to a modern setting (ie. modern clothes). There's always the RE4 creatures, like the Garradors (gladiator-looking) and Cult Members, for example, although someone did just put a nice chainsaw model up on the Vault recently (chainsaw villagers!). Just a thought.

Splendid work! I'm using CEP2 with my own top hak, and I can see these being added. I have ancient ruins in my module's world that have a Fallout meets Silent Hill feel, and these are PERFECT. The Cerberus and Tyrant models alone are each worth a 10. _________________________ Silent Hill-ish Hak | Skybox Experiments | Creature/NPC Reskins Vol 1 | Works In Progress

you should get some other things from the games besides zombies and creatures, like the guns and main characters. I'd personally like to see an rpd police officer and the beretta from the first game.
