This is a fairly big placeables (more than 800 of them :D )pack for your Star Wars - like or Sci-Fi modules I did for Dark Time in the Galaxy and Whitefall modules some time ago. Now you can have it too ^^
All Kotor 1 and 2 placeables are here, big thanks to Bioware and Obsidian for these awesome games, as well as some others
Known issue:
- they have no animations, so if you destroy them ingame they just disappear. But you shouldn't made them usable anyway, instead just use an invisible placeable you rename as you wish then add a script to make disapear the static placeable when the invisible object dies. This way you'll have a small useable blue box, pathfinding will thank you as well as lag, and you'll have your explosion ^^
- you have to make your own blueprints. In the rar you will find a txt file containing the placeables.2da lines to add to your own, and renumber to your need. You will find the appearance preceded by either [A01] or [A02].
There is either the model's name (i use it for quick debugging) or a descriptive name but in french :D sorry for that. The appearance should be explicit enough ^^
One last note, VanyaMia is currently preparing this pack as D20mm sci-fi add-on, so if you use D20mm you might want to wait for her version.
Well have fun with this, and please give some feedback and how you use this!
Jez
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: It seems I forgot to remove my custom palette file. You should remove it before doing you own blueprints (otherwise you'll have palette blank entries). Open the hak, and remove the placeablepal.itp file. Sorry about this oversight :/

I am using this in the construction of a major project of mine, and must comment on how valuable it is and beautifully ported. It evokes nostalgia from their original games, and deserves Hall of Fame Status.

Plus, the ebon hawk makes my toolset crash once i put it in the area.. cant figure out why the patches arent working. I added them to the hak the same way I added the 2da file.
the AT walker, some droids, containers and also a sith statue I believe. Some are just missing, while others are crashy.. probably a conflict with other haks?

Aight! I just didnt knew how to add files to a hakpack. I need to put also the two patches of the sci-fi placeables into the hakpack with the same method?

Could someone make a detailed guide about how to enable the placeables of the Scifi_plc.hak into a module? I tried to add the hak itself to a module but i dont know how to modify the 2da files. A step-by-step solution would be kindly appreciated.

Nice work getting these models into a format for NWN. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

Bonanza, indeed! A veritable feast. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out if I could jam this into my module's already bloated hak list, and if I can justify it. :) I'll have to check for a d20 update, as I'm already using those placeables. This would certainly expand upon the sci-fi content available in that, which is what I'm most interested in.
Also, did I see a mention of some "post-apocalyptic" stuff in the works? I would love to see more ruined versions of sci-fi stuff, rather than just contemporary/modern things.
Thanks for sharing this. I look forward to seeing more!
P.S. I'm glad to see you're still releasing things! I confess I've been away from NWN for quite a while. Somehow, this game still rocks though, and as long as people keep making interesting new things like this for it, it's worth coming back to. :) _________________________ Silent Hill-ish Hak | Skybox Experiments | Creature/NPC Reskins Vol 1 | Works In Progress

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply you were one, just meant was surprised by Star Wars-Fu wasn't powerful enough to give you an answer! :)
Anyway,I am still working away on my single player SW mod - not too sure as to what purpose. I wouldn't be able to post it on the vault and even if I could there's probably only a handful of people around the world who'd end-up playing it. Plus, with The Old Republic around the corner it may be a dead duck.
Still, I can't help fiddling and building in the toolset. Actually, one thing I could really use some help with - the Jedi classes.
I have been poking around the net and can see several groups running SW based servers but the Force based prestige classes they use are highly intergrated into their hak packs and I'm not at all familar with the files needed to extract them for use in a stand alone module.
Anyone reading this have access to the Force using Prestige classes in a stand alone hak/form? I can be contacted via my profile.
I've been working on some more inventory icons for some of the SW clobber out there (starwarrior outfit, Stormtrooper dynamic armour, the various helmets available) and will post them soon.

Well I'm not a SW geek nor a hardcore fan, I'm just liking it and the SW universe has been around for like 33 years now (!!!) XD
Anyway, Boba Fett is just 1 Mandalorian and a singular one at that. I suppose there is plenty of different Madalorian equipment (not mentionning that given the time period it must be different). Plus, the way I understand Boba Fett, he's just using the best equipment he can find, whoever made it :p
