This is a simple re-skin of the main trees from my main Tir Na Og Tree Pack to create 'dead' trees. I plan on doing an update to improve textures and add more gnarled versions, but as anyone who waited for me to update the last version knows, that could be some time :) Its definitely usable at the moment, I'll eventually get round to adding a bit more to it though.
I already have plans to add a scorched earth affect around the trees as a separate placeable to make it look as though the trees have been burnt. Any other suggestions are welcome though - although it will probably take me some time to get round to them :)

There are some problems with some PWKs.. You cannot walk up to certain trees, as the unwalkable area is far too big. This is also a big problem if you're trying to build a forest, you might end up with creatures not being able to go through it. _________________________ Shadows and Silver

Martin E - did you die? Your page at i-nation seems to have gone missing?! I was eagerly awaiting your Celtic tileset but was disappointed to find that you're (apparently) MIA. :(
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 10 that made this score of 8.20.

Scorched earth placeables, Scortched tree stumps, and a Scortched earth tileset(no grass, crispy ground areas) would be kewl. I guess if you were going to have a scorched earth tileset you would need some more scortched placeables too. Burnt houses, bushes, dead bodies. I'm thinking of the pillage part of "Rape and Pillage".

Hello,
I added this file to my placeables.2da, but when I try and use them it says "model not found". I can not figure out what I am doing wrong :/
Thanks for the great trees though!

Cool. Thanks for educating my noobness. A week ago I'd never looked inside a 2da, so I'm a bit late to the party for a few things *grin*.

Shadguy, no the numbers in the first column are completely irrelevant (although they need something in there) you could number everything as 1 and it would still work - it's just there to help find stuff I guess :)
Thanks, Martin

Martin,
Once again, thanks for the great trees. When integrating this with some other placeables, I noticed that the included .2da used line number "204" repeatedly for numerous models. I'm too new to this to know if that creates issues, and I was renumbering everything anyway for padding & integration reasons, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it.

I love the way you have improved the outdoor tilesets with your placebles. The only downside is wondering if my work will ever be done...

Just what I needed. Maybe some snow drifts or something? This is perfect for a "snowy, blasted wasteland"

Heh heh, maybe you should tell my boss that these trees and models area an essential part of the day job :)
The stone walls should make it into the first part of the tileset to be issued, along with the church, the tower and some graveyard placeables - just gota find the time, I know I left it somewhere.
Thanks for the comments :)

Martin, can I send you over some food, that way you can stay on that PC and keep making these gorgeous trees. :)
Thank you for the work! I've seen the site you made and can't tell you how much I look forward to some of those placeables - the short stone wall, for one.
